dc.description.abstract | Dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, manusia selalu berusaha untuk menciptakan sistem pompa dengan performansi yang maksimal. pentingnya pompa dalam kehidupan manusia, terlebih pada suatu Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtanadi untuk mengetahui perubahan tekanan yang dihasilkan. Salah satunya dipakai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan air bersih yang selalu meningkat dari tahun ke tahun seiring dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar nilai, kapasitas pompa, head pompa akibat pengaruh kerugian, putaran spesifik pompa, efisiensi pompa, daya pompa, dan daya penggerak pemula sehingga nantinya dapat dipilih suatu solusi yang tepat untuk mengurangi biaya operasional yang tinggi akibat dari pengaruh belokan-belokan tajam, pipa yang teralu panjang, serta mengurangi fitting yang tidak perlu agar head lossesnya tidak terlalu besar.Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa nilai kapasitas pompa0.015388 m3/detik, head total pompa 149 m, putaran spesifik pompa 66.90 rpm, efisiensi pompa 63%, daya pompa 9.77 kN/m3,daya motor penggerak pompa 42.66 kW, serta pompa dapat bekerja sesuai kebutuhan karena head secara aktual 149 m, lebih kecil dari yang tertera di name plate yaitu 150 m. With advances in science and technology, humans always try to create pump systems with maximum performance. The importance of pumps in human life, especially in a Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) to determine the resulting pressure changes. One of them is used to meet the need for clean water which always increases from year to year in line with population growth.This study aims to determine how much the value of the pump capacity, pump head is due to the effect of losses, pump specific rotation, pump efficiency, pump power, and starter driving power so that later an appropriate solution can be selected to reduce high operating costs due to the effect of sharp turns. pipes that are too long, and reduce unnecessary fittings so that the hed losses are not too large.From the research results, it is found that the total pump capacity 0.015388 m3/second, pump head value is 149 m, the specific rotation of the pump is 66.90 rpm, the pump efficiency is 63%, the pump power is 9.77 kN / m3, the motor power of the pump is 42.66 kW, and the pump can work as needed because the actual head is 149 m, smaller than what is shown on the name plate which is 150 m. | en_US |
