dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan komitmen ditinjau dari jenis kelamin pada karyawan PMI Kota Medan. Komitmen organisasi adalah bentuk penerimaan diri karyawan terhadap tujuan dan nilai-nilai organisasi ataupun perusahaan, sehingga karyawan tersebut akan berusaha dan berkarya serta memiliki hasrat yang kuat untuk tetap bertahan diperusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 85 orang karyawan. Tekhnik pengambilan sample dengan teknik total sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dengan model skala likert melalui skala komitmen organisasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis varians satu jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui Adanya perbedaan komitmen organisasi ditinjau dari jenis kelamin dengan asumsi yaitu karyawan perempuan memiliki komitmen organisasi yang tinggi dari pada karyawan laki-laki. Hasil ini diketahui dengan melihat nilai atau koefisien perbedaan memiliki signifikansi 0,000 < 0,050, hal ini berarti nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh lebih kecil dari 0,050. Dengan demikian maka hipotesis yang berbunyi perbedaan komitmen organisasi ditinjau dari jenis kelamin dengan asumsi yaitu karyawan perempuan memiliki komitmen organisasi yang tinggi dari pada karyawan laki-laki. Berdasarkan uraian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa Komitmen Organisasi Perempuan tergolong tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik 85 dan nilai rata-rata empiric 106,07. Sedangkan Komitmen Organisasi Laki-laki tergolong rendah dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik 85 dan nilai rata rata empiric 74,19. Oleh karena itu hipotesis dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to determine differences in commitment in terms of gender of PMI Medan City employees. Organizational commitment is a form of self-acceptance of employees of the goals and values of the organization or company, so that employees will try and work and have a strong desire to remain in the company. This research uses quantitative methods. The sample of this research is 85 employees. Sampling technique with total sampling technique. The data collection technique used a Likert scale model through a scale of organizational commitment. Data analysis in this study used the analysis varians one way. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there are differences in organizational commitment in terms of gender with the assumption that female employees have higher organizational commitment than male employees. This result is known by looking at the value or coefficient of difference which has a significance of 0.000 <0.050, this means that the significance value obtained is less than 0.050. Thus, the hypothesis which says that differences in organizational commitment in terms of gender assumes that female employees have higher organizational commitment than male employees. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the Women's Organizational Commitment is high with a hypothetical average value of 85 and an average empiric value of 106.07. Meanwhile, Men's Organizational Commitment is classified as low with a hypothetical average value of 85 and an average empiric value of 74.19. Therefore, the hypothesis is accepted. | en_US |
