Perbedaan School Stress Ditinjau Dari Jenis Kelamin Pada Siswa SMP VIII Ar-Rahman Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaaan school stress ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa/I kelas VIII di SMP Ar-Rahman Medan. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 97orang siswa. Sejalan dengan pembahasan yang ada dalam landasan teori, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu adanya perbedaan school stress ditinjau dari jenis kelamin pada siswa SMP Ar-Rahman Medan dengan asumsi bahwa siswa berjenis kelamin laki-laki memiliki tingka stress yang lebih rendah dari pada siswa berjenis kelamin perempuan.. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa Hipotesa pada penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan school stress yang ditinjau dari jenis kelamin pada siswa/I SMP Ar-Rahman Medan. Hasil analisis data melalui uji one way anova menunjukkan sig (p)= 0,130 dimana kriteria p: < 0.05 maka dinyatakan ada perbedaan atau sebaliknya.Reliabilitas dengan teknik koefisien alpha conbrach adalah sebesar 0,896 dan dinyatakan reliabel. Uji normalitas dinyatakan normal dengan nilai 0,058. Uji homogenitas penelitian ini sebesar 0,976 dan dikatakan homogen. Nilai rata-rata hipotetik variabel school stress laki-laki dan perempuan sebesar 65. Nilai rata-rata empirik school stress laki-laki sebesar 85,111 dan perempuan sebesar 86,247. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan school stress ditinjau dari jenis kelamin pada siswa/I SMP Ar-Rahman Medan, sehingga hipotesa yang diajukan ditolak dan perempuan memiliki nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan laki-laki. The results of data analysis through the one way ANOVA test showed sig (p) = 0.130 where the criterion was p: <0.05, it was stated that there was a difference or vice versa. Reliability with the alpha conbrach coefficient technique amounted to 0.896 and declared reliable. The normality test was declared normal with a value of 0.058. The homogeneity test of this study was 0.976 and it was said to be homogeneous. The hypothetical average value of the school stress variable for boys and girls was 65. The empirical mean score for school stress for boys was 85.111 and for girls was 86.247. So it can be concluded that there is no difference in school stress in terms of gender in students of SMP Ar-Rahman Medan, so that the hypothesis proposed is rejected and women have a higher average score than men.
