Abstract: Bendung Saba Gotting merupakan bendung yang terletak di Kecamatan Huristak, Kabupaten Padang Lawas. Bendung ini dibangun dengan tujuan meninggikan elevasi muka sungai Aek Uka pada saat musim kemarau, sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengairi lahan pertanian bagi warga setempat. Tujuan penulisan jurnal ini adalah untuk melihat bendung saba gotting aman terhadap stabilitas bendung, yang mana semua data didapat dari Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Perhitungan anailsa stabilitas bendung pada saat kondisi air normal; stabilitas terhadap guling ( Sf = 65.92 > 1.2 ); Faktor keamanan terhadap guling dengan gempa ( Sf = 10.3 > 1.2 ); Faktor keamanan terhadap gelincir tanpa gempa ( Sf = 6.0 > 1.5 ); Faktor keamanan terhadap geincir dengan gempa ( Sf = 5.5 > 1.5 ). Perhitungan Analisa stabilitas bendung pada kondisi banjir. Faktor keamanan terhadap guling ( Sf = 16.13 > 1.2 ); Faktor keamanan terhadap gelincir ( 1.4 > 0.4 ). Daya dukung tanah ( Qult = 118.1008 t/m2 ); Daya dukung izin ( Qa = 39.37 t/m2 ). Saba Gotting Weir is a weir located in Huristak District, Padang Lawas Regency. This weir was built with the aim of raising the elevation of the Aek Uka river face during the dry season, so that it can be used to irrigate agricultural land for local residents. The purpose of writing this journal is to see the Saba Gotting Dam is safe against the stability of the weir, where all data is obtained from the Public Works Office of North Sumatra Province. Calculation of the stability analysis of the weir during normal water conditions; stability against rolling (Sf = 65.92> 1.2); Safety factor against rolling with an earthquake (Sf = 10.3> 1.2); Safety factor against sliding without earthquake (Sf = 6.0> 1.5); Safety factor against windmills with earthquakes (Sf = 5.5> 1.5). Analysis of the stability of the weir in flood conditions. Safety factor against rolling (Sf = 16.13> 1.2); Safety factor against slipping (1.4> 0.4). Soil bearing capacity (Qult = 118.1008 t / m2); Permit carrying capacity (Qa = 39.37 t / m2)
