Hubungan Konformitas Dengan Kecenderungan Perilaku Merokok Pada Siswadi SMP Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan tipe kuantitatif korelasional yang bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan konformitas dengan kecenderungan perilaku merokok pada siswa SMP Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan. Konformitas diartikan sebagai sikap yang dilakukan oleh individu agar sama seperti orang lain. Sedangkan, kecenderungan perilaku merokok adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan seseorang dalam bentuk membakar rokok lalu menghisapnya. Sampel dalam berjumlah 128 orang siswa diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala konformitas dan skala kecenderungan perilaku merokok. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara konformitas dengan kecenderungan perilaku merokok dimana Rxy= 0,341 dengan P= 0.000 < 0,050. Artinya semakin tinggi konformitas pada siswa maka semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan perilaku merokoknya begitu juga sebaliknya. Maka hipotesis yang diajukan diajukan dinyatakan diterima. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa konformitas berkontribusi terhadap kecenderungan perilaku merokok sebesar 11,6%. Hal ini dilihat dari Koefisien determinan (r2) = 0,116. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata empirik dan hipotetik maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa konformitas dan kecenderungan perilaku merokok tergolong tinggi dimana untuk konformitas mean hipotetik 75 dan empirik 92,15 lalu kecenderungan perilaku merokok hipotetik 11,5 dan nilai rata-rata empirik 22,09. Berdasarkan hasil ini, diketahui masih terdapat 88,4% pengaruh dari faktor-faktor lain terhadap kecenderungan perilaku merokok yaitu faktor orang tua, iklan, jenis kelamin, dan usia. This research is a quantitative correlational type that aims to determine the relationship between conformity and the tendency of smoking behavior in students at SMP Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique totaling 128 students. Then, the data collection method used the conformity scale and the tendency of smoking behavior scale. Based on the results of the analysis showed a positive relationship between conformity with the tendency of smoking behavior where Rxy = 0.341 with P = 0.000 <0.050. This means that the higher the conformity of students, the higher the tendency of smoking behavior. Conversely, The lower the student's conformity, the lower the tendency of smoking behavior. The hypothesis that has been proposed in the study is declared accepted. This study proves that conformity contributes to the tendency of smoking behavior by 11.6%. can be seen from the determinant coefficient (r2) = 0.116. Based on the results of the empirical and hypothetical mean values, it can be concluded that the conformity and the tendency of smoking behavior are respectively high where the hypothetical mean conformity is 75 and the empirical is 92.15, then the hypothetical behavior tendency is 11.5 and the empirical mean is 22.09. was high with a hypothetical average value of 11.5 and the empiric average value of 22.09. Based on these results, it is known that there are still 88.4% of the influence of other factors on the tendency of smoking behavior, namely parental factors, advertising, gender, and age.
