Hubungan Antara Pola Asuh Demokratis Dengan Perilaku Prososial Pada Siswa Di SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang dilakukan peneliti dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dengan perilaku prososial pada siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah adanya hubungan positif antara pola asuh demokratis demokratis dengan perilaku prososial pada siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan, dimana semakin tinggi pola asuh demokratis maka semakin tinggi pula perilaku prososial dan begitu pula sebaliknya, semakin rendah pola asuh demokratis maka semakin rendah pula perilaku prososial. Populasi dalam penelitian dipilih menggunakan metode screening test pola asuh demokratis, maka didapat siswa kelas X sebanyak 35 orang di SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala pola asuh demokratis dan skala perilaku prososial. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Product Moment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil ada hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dengan perilaku prososial dengan koefisien korelasi (rxy sebesar 0,839 dengan signifikan p = 0,000 (p = < 0,05) yang artinya hipotesis diterima, yaitu adanya hubungan positif antara pola asuh demokratis dan perilaku prososial. Pola asuh demokratis berkontribusi sangat besar terhadap perilaku prososial sebesar 70,4% (r2 = 0,704) diketahui pula bahwa pola asuh demokratis tergolong tinggi (mean empirik = 130,29 > mean hipotetik = 100) dan perilaku prososial tergolong tinggi (mean empirik = 87,66 > mean hipotetik = 67,5). This research is a quantitative research conducted by researchers with the aim of knowing the correlation between democratic parenting and prosocial behavior among students at SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive correlation between democratic democratic parenting and prosocial behavior in students at SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan, where the higher the democratic parenting, the higher the prosocial behavior and vice versa, the lower the democratic parenting, the lower also prosocial behavior. The population in the study was selected using the screening test method for democratic parenting, so there were 35 students in class X at SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan. The sampling technique used total sampling, the number of samples in this study were 35 students. The data collection technique used a scale of democratic parenting and a scale of prosocial behavior. The data analysis technique in this study used Product Moment analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that there was a relationship between democratic parenting and prosocial behavior with a correlation coefficient (rxy of 0.839 with significant p = 0.000 (p = <0.05), which means that the hypothesis is accepted, that is, there is a positive correlation between democratic parenting and prosocial behavior. Democratic parenting contributed significantly to prosocial behavior by 70.4% (r2 = 0.704). It is also known that democratic parenting is high (empirical mean = 130.29 > hypothetical mean = 100) and prosocial behavior is high (mean empiric = 87.66 > hypothetical mean = 67.5).
