dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Harga diri dengan Interaksi sosial pada siswa/i SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Interaksi sosial diukur berdasarkan dua aspek, yaitu kontak sosial dan komunikasi. Sementara Harga diri diukur dari berdasarkan empat aspek, yaitu kekuatan, kemampuan, kebajikan, dan keberartian. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa/i SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan yang berjumlah 95 sampel dengan Hipotesis penelitian adalah ada hubungan positif antara harga diri dengan interaksi sosial, dengan asumsi semakin tinggi harga dri maka semakin tinggi juga interaksi sosial siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan skala harga diri dan skala interaksi sosial yang disusun oleh peneliti. Analisis menggunakan korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian melalui analisis data menyimpulkan ada hubungan positif antara Harga diri terhadap Interaksi sosial (rxy = 0,849) dan koefisien determinan (r2 = 0,720) dengan p = 0,000 berarti p < 0,05. Koefisien determinan r2 = 0,720 dimana bahwa Interaksi sosial dibentuk oleh Harga diri sebesar 72%. Hal ini berarti hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu ada hubungan positif antara harga diri dengan interaksi sosial, dengan asumsi semakin tinggi harga diri maka semakin tinggi juga interaksi sosial siswa, diterima. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and social interaction among students of SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Social interaction is measured based on two aspects, namely social contact and communication. Meanwhile, self-esteem is measured based on four aspects, namely strength, ability, virtue, and meaning. The research sample is students of SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan, totaling 95 samples. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between self-esteem and social interaction, assuming that the higher the price, the higher the student's social interaction. The sampling technique is Purposive sampling. The data collection tool used a self-esteem scale and a social interaction scale compiled by the researcher. Analysis using Product Moment Correlation. The results of the research through data analysis concluded that there was a positive relationship between self-esteem and social interaction (rxy = 0.849) and the determinant coefficient ( r2 = 0.720) with p = 0.000, which means p <0.05. The determinant coefficient of r2 = 0.720 where that social interaction is formed by self-esteem of 72%. This means that the hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between self-esteem and social interaction, assuming that the higher the self-esteem, the higher the student's social interaction is accepted.en_US
