Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perilaku prososial ditinjau dari pola asuh orang tua pada remaja di SMK Negeri 1 Barumun. Terdapat perbedaan perilaku prososial ditinjau dari pola asuh orang tua dengan asumsi: remaja dalam pola asuh demokratis memiliki perilaku prososial yang baik dari pada remaja dalam pola asuh otoriter dan permisif. Sampel 105 siswa dengan nilai hipotetik 85 dan nilai empirik perilaku prososial pola asuh demokratis dinyatakan sangat tinggi, perilaku prososial pola asuh otoriter dinyatakan sedang, dan perilaku prososial pola asuh permisif dinyatakan rendah. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan metode skala Likert untuk skala perilaku prososial disusun berdasarkan aspek teori Dayakisni & Hudaniah (2015) yaitu yang mencakup tindakan menolong, berbagi, kerjasama, bertindak jujur, dan berderma. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode screening dengan skala Guttman dari teori Santrock (2016). Terdapat perbedaan perilaku prososial yang signifikan ditinjau dari pola asuh orang tua pada siswa, dimana F = 10,230 p = 0.000< 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil ini, artinya hipotesis berbunyi ada perbedaan perilaku prososial ditinjau dari pola asuh orang tua dengan asumsi: remaja dalam pola asuh demokratis memiliki perilaku prososial yang baik dari pada remaja dalam pola asuh otoriter dan permisif dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to determine the differences in prosocial behavior in terms of parenting patterns in adolescents at SMK Negeri 1 Barumun. There are differences in prosocial behavior in terms of parenting with the assumption: adolescents in democratic parenting have better prosocial behavior than adolescents in authoritarian and permissive parenting. A sample of 105 students with a hypothetical score of 85 and an empirical value of prosocial behavior in democratic parenting was stated very high, prosocial behavior in authoritarian parenting was stated to be moderate, and prosocial behavior in permissive parenting was stated to be low. This study was compiled based on the Likert scale method for the prosocial behavior scale based on aspects of the theory of Dayakisni & Hudaniah (2015), which include helping, sharing, cooperating, acting honestly, and giving charity. This study uses a screening method with the Guttman scale from the theory of Santrock (2016). There is a significant difference in prosocial behavior in terms of parenting in students, where F = 10.230 p = 0.000 <0.05. Based on these results, it means that the hypothesis reads that there are differences in prosocial behavior in terms of parenting with the assumption: adolescents in democratic parenting have good prosocial behavior than adolescents in authoritarian and permissive parenting are declared accepted.
