Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara iklim kelas dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 49 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 49 Medan yang berjumlah 80 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua skala, yaitu skala iklim kelas dan skala motivasi belajar. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil analis data menunjukkan koefisien korelasi 𝑟𝑥𝑦 = 0,608 dengan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), artinya bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara iklim kelas dengan motivasi belajar. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi iklim kelas maka semakin tinggi motivasi belajar, sebaliknya semakin rendah iklim kelas, maka semakin rendah pula motivasi belajar. Dari hasil analisis ini diketahui bahwa iklim kelas SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 49 Medan tergolong tinggi (mean empirik =114,45 > mean hipotetik = 97,5) demikian juga motivasi belajar siswa tergolong tinggi (mean empirik= 102,38 > mean hipotetik = 87,5. Adapun koefisien determinasi ditemukan sebesar r2 = 0,370 berarti bahwa iklim kelas memberikan sumbangan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 37%. This research aims to determine the correlations between classroom climate and learning motivation in students of Muhammadiyah 49 Private Junior High Schools. This research uses quantitative research methods. The subjects in this study were students of the 49 Muhammadiyah Private Junior High School in Medan, totaling 80 students. The sampling technique uses a total sampling technique. Data were collected using two scales, namely the class climate scale and the scale of learning motivation. The data analysis technique in this study used the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results of the data analysis showed the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.608 with p = 0.000 (p <0.05), it means that there was a significant positive relationship between classroom climate and learning motivation. These results indicate that the higher the classroom climate, the higher the learning motivation, conversely the lower the classroom climate, the lower the learning motivation. From the results of this analysis, it is known that the classroom climate of Muhammadiyah 49 Private Junior High Schools is high (mean empiric = 114.45 > mean hypothetical = 97.5) as well as student learning motivation is high (mean empirical = 102.38 > mean hypothetical = 87, 5. The coefficient of determination was found to be r2 = 0.370, which means that the classroom climate contributed 37% to student learning motivation.
