Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui regulasi emosi pada pernikahan dini. Regulasi emosi adalah kemampuan individu mengolah emosinya dan kapan individu tersebut harus mengeluarkannya serta kemampuan individu untuk tetap tenang meskipun sedang dibawah tekanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Responden sebanyak 2 orang wanita berusia 18 dan 19 tahun. Lokasi penelitian di kecamatan Matang Kuli. Analisa data menggunakan tehnik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis pada kedua responden memiliki faktor penyebab pernikahan dini yang berbeda dimana responden 1 menikah karena faktor internal sedangkan responden 2 karena faktor eksternal. Hasil analisis ini menceritakan bahwa regulasi emosi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu usia dan jenis kelamin, lingkungan, religiusitas, kepribadian, pola asuh, dan budaya. Faktor yang sangat berpengaruh pada responden 1 yaitu faktor kepribadian dan responden 2 yaitu religiusitas. Aspek regulasi emosi; Strategies to emotion Regulation (Strategies), Enganging in goal directed behaviour (Goals), Control emotional responses (Impulse), Acceptance of emotional response (Acceptance). Pada responden 1 aspek yang menonjol yaitu strategies to emotion regulation (Strategies) atau keyakinan untuk dapat mengatasi masalah dengan cara mengurangi emosi negative dan responden 2 sangat menonjol pada Aspek Acceptance of emotional response (Acceptance) atau menerima kejadian dan permasalahan tersebut, ketika emosi negatif muncul. Kedua responden ini melewati beberapa proses dalam melakukan regulasi emosi, diantaranya; Situation Selection (Pemilihan Situasi), Situation Modification (Situasi Modifikasi), Attention Deployment (Penyebaran Perhatian), Cognitive Change (Perubahan Kognitif), Respon Modulation (Modulasi Respon). Melihat hasil analisis ini maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa kedua responden telah mampu meregulasi emosi. This study aims to determine the regulation of emotions in early marriage. Emotion regulation is the individual's ability to process his emotions and when the individual must release them and the individual's ability to remain calm even under pressure. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The respondents were 2 women aged 18 and 19 years. The research location is in the District of Matang Kuli. Data analysis used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the analysis on the two respondents have different factors causing early marriage where respondent 1 married due to internal factors while respondent 2 due to external factors. The results of the analysis show that emotion regulation is influenced by several factors, namely age and gender, environment, religiosity, personality, parenting, and culture. The most influential factor in respondent 1 is personality factor and respondent 2 is religiosity. Aspects of emotion regulation; Strategies for Regulation of Emotions (Strategy), Engaging in goal-directed behavior (Goals), Control of emotional responses (Impulse), Acceptance of emotional responses (Acceptance). In respondent 1, the aspect that stands out is the emotion regulation strategy (Strategy) or belief to be able to overcome the problem by reducing negative emotions and respondent 2 is very prominent in the aspect of receiving emotional responses (Acceptance) or accepting the events and problems. , when negative emotions arise. . These two respondents went through several processes in regulating emotions, including; Situation Selection, Situation Modification, Attention Dissemination, Cognitive Change, Response Modulation. Seeing the results of the analysis, it can be stated that both respondents have been able to regulate emotions.
