Hubungan Antara Konformitas Dengan Konsep Diri Pada Siswa Di SMAN 2 Sibolga

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Hubungan Konformitas dengan Konsep Diri pada Siswa di SMAN 2 Sibolga. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII di SMAN 2 Sibolga yang berjumlah 283 orang. Untuk menentukan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Total Sampling yang dimana seluruh populasi menjadi anggota yang diamati sebagai sampel. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala konformitas dan konsep diri. Uji validitas menggunakan uji validitas isi yang dimana diperoleh koefisien butir skala konformitas yang valid bergerak dari rbt = 0,311 hingga rbt = 0,480 dan skala konsep diri bergerak dari rbt = 0,321 hingga rbt = 0,610 dengan taraf signifikan atau p>0.300. Uji reliabilitas menghasilkan indeks reliabilitas sebesar 0,895 untuk konformitas dan 0,881 untuk skala konsep diri. Uji korelasi digunakan untuk menentukan hubungan antara kedua variable yaitu konformitas dan konsep diri diperoleh melalui korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara konformitas dengan konsep diri pada siswa di SMAN 2 Sibolga. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil perhitungan korelasi r pearson, dimana rxy=0,431 dengan signifikan p=0,05 artinya hipotesis yang diajukan semakin positif konformitas maka akan semakin tinggi konsep diri dan sebaliknya semakin negatif konformitas maka akan semakin rendah konsep diri. Adapun sumbangan efektif dari konformitas mempengaruhi konsep diri sebesar 18,6 %. This study aims to see the relationship between conformity and self-concept in students of SMAN 2 Sibolga. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with correlational research type. The population in this study were students of class XII at SMAN 2 Sibolga, amounting to 283 people. Determination of the number of samples in this study using a total sampling technique where the entire population is a member who is observed as a sample. The data was collected using a suitability scale and self-concept. The validity test used the content validity test, obtained the item validity scale coefficient moved from rbt = 0.311 to rbt = 0.480 and the self-concept scale moved from rbt = 0.321 to rbt = 0.610 with a significant level or p> 0.300. The reliability test resulted in a reliability index of 0.895 for suitability and 0.881 for the self-concept scale. Correlation test was used to determine the relationship between the two variables, namely conformity and self-concept obtained through Pearson correlation. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between conformity and self-concept in students of SMAN 2 Sibolga. This is based on the results of the calculation of the Pearson correlation r, where rxy = 0.431 with a significant p = 0.05, meaning that the more positive conformity the hypothesis is, the higher the self-concept and conversely the more negative conformity, the lower the self-concept. Meanwhile, the effective contribution of conformity influenced self-concept by 18.6%.
