Penerapan Etika Jurnalistik pada Kegiatan Citizen Journalism di Komunitas Mata Kamera Medan

Abstract

Research conducted by researcher entitled “ The Application of Journalistic Ethics On The Activities Of Citizen Journalism In The Mata Kamera Community Medan “ The research was qualitative, data was collected with the observation field, study the literature, interviews with respondents and informants as well as the us of data triangulation analysis. From the results of research that is already done, it can be noted that the citizen journalism in the Mata Kamera Community does not understand the rules and ethics that have been issued by PPWI ( Union of Senior Citizen of Indonesia ) as the agencies that oversee and govern the process of citizen journalism in Indonesia, ranging from an ethics of writing as well as the concept of citizen journalism photo that can disturb the peace of society, therefore understanding given may be good for future both for citizen journalism as well as the other members of the Mata Kamera Community itself.
