dc.description.abstract | Beton merupakan elemen struktur bangunan yang telah dikenal dan banyak dimanfaatkan sampai saat ini. Beton juga menjadi salah satu pilihan bahan struktur yang digunakan sebagai bahan konstruksi pada bidang struktur seperti gedung, jembatan, jalan, dan sebagainya. Pada umumnya jika ingin mendapatkan beton dengan mutu dan keawetan yang tinggi, ada beberapa faktor yang harus diperhatikan, meliputi faktor air semen (fas), agregat (baik agregat kasar maupun halus), dan penggunaan bahan tambah (admixture dan Additive) yang bersifat mengubah perilaku beton saat pelaksanaan pekerjaan untuk memperbaiki kinerja pelaksanaan. Penelitian ini akan membahas tentang kuat tekan beton dengan menggunakan Viscocrete-10 sebagai zat adiktif dan limbah las karbit sebagai bahan campuran pengganti semen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Viscocrete-10 dan limbah las karbit pada campuran beton. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data primer yang didapat langsung dari laboratorium Teknik Sipil Universitas Medan Area dan data sekunder yang didapat dari buku-buku dan jurnal. Variasi penambahan Viscocrete-10 sebesar 0% dan 2% dari berat air. Sedangkan variasi penambahan limbah las karbit sebesar 0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15% dari berat semen. Penelitian ini dibuat sampel kubus beton berukuran 15cm x 15cm x 15cm sebanyak 20 spesimen dengan 4 variasi dengan masing-masing variasi dibuat sebanyak 5 spesimen. Tes kekuatan tekan dilakukan pada umur 28 hari. Dari hasil pembahasan penelitian ditemukan bahwa kadar Viscocrete-10 dan limbah las karbit yang optimum digunakan untuk campuran beton adalah pada Viscocrete-10 2% dan limbah las karbit 10% yang menghasilkan kuat tekan beton sebesar 14,1 MPa. Concrete is a structural element of a building that is well known and widely used today. Concrete is also a choice of building materials used as building materials in the field of structures such as buildings, bridges, roads, and etc. In general, if you want to get high-quality concrete and high durability, there are several factors that must be considered, including the factor of cement water (FAS), aggregates (both coarse and fine aggregates), and the use of additives (admixture and Additive) which are to change concrete behavior when do work to improve implementation performance. This study will discuss the compressive strength of concrete using viscocrete-10 as an addictive substance and carbide welding waste as a cement replacement mixture. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding Viscocrete-10 and carbide welding waste to the concrete mixture. This research was conducted by collecting primary data obtained directly from the University of Medan Area Civil Engineering laboratory and secondary data obtained from books and journals. Addition of Viscocrete-10 is 0% and 2% of the weight of water. While variations in the addition of carbide welding waste by 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% of the weight of cement. In this study made a sample of concrete cube 15cm x 15cm x 15cm totaling 20 specimens with 4 variaotions with each variation made as many as 5 specimens. the compressive strength test was performed at age 28 days. From the results of the study it was found that the optimum levels of Viscocrete-10 and carbide welding waste used for concrete mix were at viscocrete-10 2% and 10% carbide welding waste which produced concrete compressive strength of 14.1 Mpa. | en_US |
