This study aims to see the relationship between self self-control and internet gaming disorder in the MLBB community at Medan Area University, where the number of adolescents who are used as research subjects is 52 people. The hypothesis proposed in this study reads: there is a negative relationship between self self-control and internet gaming disorder among members of the MLBB community at Medan Area University. This means that the higher the self self-control, the lower the internet gaming disorder, and conversely, the lower the self self-control, the higher the internet gaming disorder. The analytical method used in this study is the product moment correlation technique, where based on the analysis obtained from the following results, there is a negative relationship betwee n self self-control and internet gaming disorder. This result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = -0.594; p = 0.000 <0.05. Based on these results, the hypothesis that has been proposed in this study is accepted. The coefficient of determination (r 2) = 0.353 indicates that Internet Gaming Disorder is formed by Self Self-Control by 35.3%. Furthermore, seen from the calculation of the hypothetical mean = 85 and the empirical mean = 76.00 and the standard deviation = 21.282, it is known that self self-control is in the moderate category. While the selfself-control from the calculation of the hypothetical mean = 92.5 and the empirical mean = 119.58 and the standard deviation = 14.035, it is known that internet gaming disorder is in the high category.
