Persepsi Mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Medan Area Angkatan 2017 Pada Acara Indonesia Lawyers Club Tv One

Abstract

Tayangan Indonesia Lawyers Club dengan tema KPK mau diperkuat atau diperlemah tayang pada hari selasa tanggal 10 september 2019. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ditemukannya diskusi kecil yang terjadi di kantin dan pelataran Pemerintahan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik yang membahas isu tentang pelemahan yang terjadi ditubuh KPK dan menjadikan pendapat dari narasumber Indonesia Lawyers Club sebagai landasan diskusi dan hal ini terjadi pada tema KPK mau diperkuat atau diperlemah. Oleh karena itu peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Medan Area Angkatan 2017 mengenai tayangan tersebut serta dalam pemilihan narasumbernya. Hal ini menarik untuk dikaji karena pada saat itu tayangan ini menajdi populer dikalangan masyarakat serta banyaknya antusiasnya mahasiswa untuk turun berdemo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data ini berasal dari mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Medan Area Angkatan 2017 dan data ini dikumpulkan berdasarkan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan narasumber dalam tayangan tersebut dirasakan sudah berimbang serta persepsi yang timbul dikalangan mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Angkatan 2017 adalah tayangan yang menarik dan menambah informasi mengenai rumor yang beredar dimasyarakat. This research was motivated by the discovery of a small discussion that took place in the canteen and the government court of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences students who discussed the issue of weakening that occurred in the KPK and making the opinion of resource persons from the Indonesia Lawyers Club as a basis for discussion and this happened on the theme that the KPK was about to be strengthened or weakened. Therefore, researchers are interested in knowing the perceptions of Communication Science students at the University of Medan Area Class of 2017 reganrding these shows and in selecting the sources. This is interesting to study because at that time this show became popular among the public as well as the enthusiasm of students to participate in demonstrating. This research uses a qualitative approach. The source of this data comes from students of Communication Science at the University of Medan Area Class of 2017 and this data was collected based on data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation. The selection of sources in the broadcast is felt to be balanced and the perception that arises among Communication Science students Class of 2017 is that it is interesting and adds information about rumors circulating in the community.
