Abstract: | Penggunaan pupuk anorganik secara terus menerus berdampak terhadap lingkungan yang akan mengakibatkan penurunan produksi tanaman. Penggunaan pupuk kimia dan bahan organik kedalam tanah akan mampu meningkatkan produksi tanaman dan menjaga kesuburan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai dosis pupuk kimia yang ditambahkan dengan kompos Mucuna bracteata sebagai pupuk dasar dan POC daun gamal dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman terong. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor, yaitu dosis pupuk kimia dan POC daun gamal. Dosis pupuk kimia terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan yaitu : K0 = tanpa pupuk kimia, K1 = 25% dari rekomendasi, K2 = 50% dari rekomendasi, K3 = 75% dari rekomendasi, K4 = 100% dari rekomendasi. Sedangkan POC daun gamal terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan yaitu : P0 = tanpa POC daun gamal, P1 = konsentrasi 5%, P2 = konsentrasi 10%, P3 = konsentrasi 15%, P4 = konsentrasi 20%. Parameter pengamatan meliputi : tinggi tanaman, luas daun, jumlah buah per tanaman, produksi per tanaman, produksi per plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pupuk kimia berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman terong, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter lainnya. Sedangkan perlakuan POC daun gamal tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dosis pupuk kimia 25% dari rekomendasi dan POC daun gamal konsentrasi 15% memiliki produksi per plot. Penambahan kompos Mucuna bracteata sebagai pupuk dasar dan POC daun gamal dapat mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia pada tanaman terong. The continuous use of inorganic fertilizers has an impact on the environment which will result in a decrease in crop production. The use of chemical fertilizers and organic matter into the soil will increase crop production and maintain soil fertility. This study aims to determine the effect of various doses of chemical fertilizer plus compost Mucuna bracteata manure based and POC of gamal leaf in increasing eggplant growth and production. This research method used a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 factors, namely the dose of chemical fertilizer and POC of gamal leaf. The chemical fertilizer dose consisted of 5 treatment levels, namely: K0 = no chemical fertilizer, K1 = 25% recommendation, K2 = 50% recommendation, K3 = 75% recommendation, K4 = 100% recommendation. While the POC of gamal leaf consisted of 5 treatment levels, namely: P0 = without POC of gamal leaf, P1 = concentration of 5%, P2 = concentration of 10%, P3 = concentration of 15%, P4 = concentration of 20%. Observation parameters include: plant height, leaf area, number of fruits per plant, production per plant, production per plot. The results showed that chemical fertilizers had a significant effect on plant height, but had no significant effect on other parameters. While the POC treatment of gamal leaf had no significant effect on all observation parameters. From the results of the study, it was found that the chemical fertilizer dose of 25% from the recommendation and the POC of gamal leaf with a concentration of 15% had production per plot. The addition of compost Mucuna bracteata manure based and POC of gamal leaf can reduce the use of chemical fertilizers. |
