Hubungan antara Konsep Diri dengan Perilaku Asertif pada Siswa-Siswi di SMA Eka Prasetya Medan

Abstract

Berdasarkan analisis data yang menggunakan metode Analisis Korelasi Product Moment, diketahui bahwa 1). Terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan perilaku asertif. Artinya semakin positif konsep diri, maka semakin tinggi perilaku asertif, sebaliknya semakin negatif konsep diri maka semakin rendah perilaku asertif. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,271 ; sig < 0,050. Dengan demikian maka hipotesis yang telah diajukan dalam penelitian ini, dinyatakan diterima.. 2). Perilaku asertif, muncul disebabkan alah satunya oleh faktor konsep diri, dimana berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa konsep diri berpengaruh sebesar 7,3% terhadap perilaku asertif. Dari hasil ini maka diketahui bahwa masih terdapat 92,7 pengaruh dari faktor lain, dimana faktor lain tersebut dalam penelitian ini tidak diteliti, yakni faktor kepribadian masing-masing individu, jenis kelamin, sikap orangtua terhadap anak-anaknya, pendidikan individu itu sendiri dan kebudaya.an dimana individu itu berada. 3). Hasil lain yang diperoieh dari peneiitian ini, diketahui bahwa para siswa memiiiki ikonsep diri yang sangat positif dan juga memiliki perilaku asertif yang sangat tinggi. Konsep diri yang sangat positif dan juga perilaku asertif yang sangat tinggi ini diketahui dengan membandingkan antara mean hipotetik dengan mean empirik dengan memperhatikan bilangan SD masing-masing variabel. Mean empirik konsep diri adalah 164,900, lebh besar dari mean hipotetiknya. yakni 127.5 dan selisih kedua nilai terse but melebihi bilangan SD, yakni 16,831. Kemudian juga diketahui bahwa mean empirik perilaku asertif adalah 187,416, lebih besar dari mean hipotetiknya, yakni 145 dan selisih kedua nilai tersebut melebihi bilangan SD, yakni 19,197.
