dc.description.abstractTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan antara kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja dengan kinerja karyawaan di PT. Kaltimex Energy Medan. Sampel penelitian diambil melalui teknik total sampling sebesar 83 karyawan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kompensasi, lingkugan kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi berganda dengan hasil sebagai berikut: 1) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi dengan kinerja karyawan, dengan rxy = 0,549 dan p < 0,05 dengan sumbangan efektif 30,2%. 2) ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara lingkugan kerja dengan kinerja karyawan, dengan rxy = 0,631 dan p < 0,05 dengan sumbangan efektif 39,8%. 3) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja dengan kinerja karyawan di PT. Kaltimex Energy Medan, dimana rxy = 0,654 dan p <0,05 dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 42,7%. Hal ini berarti semakin baik kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja maka kinerja karyawan akan semakin meningkat. Sebaliknya, jika kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja buruk, maka kinerja karyawan akan menurun. The purpose of this study is to look at the relationship between compensation and work environment with employee performance at PT. Kaltimex Energy Medan. The research sample was taken through a total sampling technique of 83 employees. Data collection methods use a scale of compensation, work environment and employee performance. Data analysis techniques used multiple correlation analysis with the following results: 1) there was a positive and significant relationship between compensation and employee performance, with rxy = 0.549 and p <0.05 with an effective contribution of 30.2%. 2) there is a significant positive relationship between work environment and employee performance, with rxy = 0.631 and p <0.05 with an effective contribution of 39.8%. 3) there is a positive and significant relationship between compensation and work environment with the performance of employees at PT. Kaltimex Energy Medan, where rxy = 0.654 and p <0.05 with an effective contribution of 42.7%. This means that the better the compensation and work environment, the employee's performance will increase. Conversely, if compensation and work conditions are poor, employee performance will decline.en_US
