Pengaruh Terapi Perilaku Metode Lovaas Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Verbal pada Anak Autisme di Yayasan Ananda Karsa Mandiri

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi perilaku metode lovaas terhadap kemampuan komunikasi verbal anak autisme pada Yayasan Ananda Karsa Mandiri Medan dengan metode eksperimen. Adapun jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah lima orang anak autisme yang mengalami gangguan komunikasi verbal yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Dalam upaya untuk membuktikan penelitian ini, maka digunakan metode eksperimen pretes posttes one group design dan teknik analisis data chisquare dimana yang menjadi variabel bebas x adalah terapi perilaku metode lovaas dan yang menjadi variabel terikat y adalah kemampuan komunikasi verbal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang sangat signifikan terapi perilaku metode lovaas terhadap kemampuan verbal anak autisme. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan within category menunjukkan adanya total peningkatan sebesar 72% komunikasi verbal anak autisme dengan tingkat reliabilitas 0,01. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disampaikan bahwa terapi perilaku metode lovaas memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi anak autisme. As for the amount The sample in this study were five children with autism who had verbal communication disorders taken by purposive sampling. In an effort to prove this research, the method is used pretest posttest experiment one group design and chi-square data analysis technique where the independent variable x is behavioral therapy lovaas method and the dependent variable y is verbal communication ability. The results of this study found that there was a positive influence that very significant behavioral therapy lovaas method on children's verbal abilities autism. This result is evidenced by the within category showing the total an increase of 72% in verbal communication of children with autism with a level of reliability 0.01. From the results of the study, it can be conveyed that behavioral therapy the lovaas method has a positive effect on increasing ability communication for children with autism.
