dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan kemandirian belajar pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan NA IX-X Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA yang berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua skala, yaitu skala kepercayaan diri dan skala kemandirian belajar.Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment (rxy) menemukan bahwa ada korelasi positif yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dengan kemandirian belajar. Dimana semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri maka semakin tinggi kemandirian belajar, dan sebaliknya semakin rendah kepercayaan diri maka semakin rendah kemandirian belajar. Hal ini di tunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,777 dengan p < 0,01. Dari hasil analisis ini diketahui bahwa kepercayaan diri di SMA Negeri 1 kecamatan NA IX-X tergolong tinggi (mean empirik =120,15 > mean hipotetik = 77,5 demikian juga kemandirian belajar siswa tergolong tinggi (mean empirik= 180,76 > mean hipotetik = 145. Selain itu ditemukan bahwa ternyata konstribusi kepercayaan diri terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa sebesar 60,4% (r2=0, 604) This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and learning independence in students of SMA Negeri 1 District NA IX-X North Labuhanbatu Regency. The subjects in this study were students of class XI SMA, totaling 60 students. The sampling technique used was total sampling technique. Data were collected using two scales, namely the self-confidence scale and the learning independence scale. Data analysis using the product moment correlation technique (rxy) found that there was a significant positive correlation between self-confidence and learning independence. Where the higher the self-confidence, the higher the learning independence, and conversely the lower the self-confidence, the lower the learning independence. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.777 with p < 0.01. From the results of this analysis, it is known that self-confidence in SMA Negeri 1 sub-district NA IX-X is high (empirical mean = 120.15 > hypothetical mean = 77.5 as well as student learning independence is high (empirical mean = 180.76 > hypothetical mean). = 145.
