dc.description.abstractHasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang menyebabkan responden I dipoligami adalah karena istri kedua adalah pacar suaminya sewaktu bujangan. Sedangkan pada responden II dipoligami karena memiliki perjanjian dengan suami dan menderita suatu penyakit. Pada saat suami meminta izin berpoligami responden I tidak mengajukan syarat, sedangkan pada responden II mengajukan syarat agar suaminya mampu berlaku adil. Adapun dampak yang ditimbulkan dari kehidupan berpoligami pada responden I adalah ketergantungan ekonomi terhadap suami, sedangkan pada responden II yaitu memperoleh kekerasan secara psikologis dari suami dan ketergantungan ekonomi pada suami. Responden I tetap menghargai suami dan menjalankan tugas serta kewajibannya sebaga seorang istri, sedangkan pada responden II bersikap acuh tak acuh terhadap suami dan meninggalkan tanggung jawabnya sebagai seorang istri. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap responden I adalah pengalaman bersama suami, nasihat orang tua dan ajaran agama yang ia yakini, sedangkan pada respoden II yang mempengaruhi sikapnya adalah pengalaman bersama suami dan nasihat dari orang tua. Alasan responden I mempertahankan pernikahannya adalah mengingat akan nasib kedua anak-anaknya yang masih membutuhkan kasih sayang dan ekonomi dari suami, sedangkan pada responden II karena takut akan kehilangan hak asuh kedua anaknya dan kehilangan hak ekonomi dari suami. The results of this study can be concluded that the factors that causing respondent I polygamy is because the second wife is her husband's boyfriend when bachelor. Meanwhile, respondent II is polygamous because he has agreement with her husband and suffers from an illness. When husband ask for permission polygamous respondent I did not put forward the conditions, while in respondent II put forward conditions so that her husband is able to act fairly. As for the impact which caused by polygamous life in respondent I is dependency economy towards the husband, while the second respondent is get psychological violence from husband and economic dependence on husband. Respondent I still respects her husband and carries out his duties as well as his obligations as a wife, while the second respondent behaves indifferent towards her husband and leave her responsibilities as a wife. The factors that influence the attitude of respondent I are experience together husband, parental advice and religious teachings that he believes in, while Respondent II that influenced his attitude was the experience with his husband and advice from parents. The reason respondent I maintains his marriage is remembering the fate of his two children who still need love love and economics from husband, while in respondent II because of fear of lost custody of her two children and lost the economic rights of her husband.en_US
