Kesejahteraan Subjektif pada Remaja di Lapas Kelas IIB di Kualasimpang

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesejahteraan subjektif pada remaja di Lapas kelas IIB Kualasimpang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan diskusi kelompok fokus. Responden didalam penelitian ini adalah remaja fase akhir (19 – 21 tahun) berjumlah 4 orang (2 orang laki-laki dan 2 orang perempuan), dengan kasus narkoba dan hukuman minimal 2 tahun, serta 2 orang informan (pegawai Lapas). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan gambaran kesejahteraan subjektif pada keempat responden. Faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi kesejahteraan subjektif remaja di Lapas adalah faktor internal dan eksternal. Keempat responden merasakan manfaat kebahagiaan dan kepuasan hidup dengan kegiatan-kegiatan yang diselenggarakan Lapas. Keempat responden memaknai kesejahteraan subjektifnya saat ini berbeda-beda, pada responden pertama kesejahteraan subjektifnya cukup baik pada aspek kemandirian dan religiusitas, namun rendah pada aspek konsep dirinya yang merasa gagal saat ini. Responden kedua menunjukkan kesejahteraan subjektifnya cukup baik pada aspek religiusitas dan optimisme, namun rendah pada aspek konsep diri (merasa menjadi ‘babu’ dan ‘sampah’). Pada responden ketiga, kesejahteraan subjektifnya bagus pada aspek kemandirian, kefungsian keluarga (hubungan dengan orang tua menjadi lebih baik), religiusitas dan konsep diri. Pada responden keempat menunjukkan kesejahteraan subjektifnya cukup baik pada aspek kemandirian dan religiusitas, namun rendah pada aspek konsep dirinya (merasa gagal masa remajanya). This study aims to determine the subjective well-being of adolescents in Class IIB Lapas Kualasimpang. This research is a type of phenomenological qualitative research. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and focus group discussions. Respondents in this study were adolescents in the final phase (19-21 years) totaling 4 people (2 men and 2 women), with drug cases and a minimum sentence of 2 years, and 2 informants (Lapas staff). The results showed that there were differences in the picture of subjective well-being in the four respondents. Factors that influence the subjective well-being of adolescents in prisons are internal and external factors. The four respondents felt the benefits of happiness and life satisfaction with activities held by Lapas. The four respondents interpreted their subjective well-being at this time to be different, in the first respondent their subjective well-being was quite good in the aspects of independence and religiosity but was low on aspects of the concept of himself who felt a failure now. The second respondent showed his subjective well-being quite well on aspects of religiosity and optimism but was low on aspects of selfconcept (felt to be 'slave' and 'garbage'). In the third respondent, his subjective well-being is good in the aspect of independence, family functioning (relationship with parents becomes better), religiosity and self-concept. In the fourth respondent showed that his subjective well-being was good enough in the aspects of independence and religiosity, but was low on aspects of his concept (feeling a failure of his adolescence).
