Forgiveness Istri yang Mengalami Kekerasan dalam Rumah Tangga

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses forgiveness yang terjadi pada istri Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga, bentuk-bentuk kekerasan yang dialami oleh istri, serta dampak psikologis istri yang mengalami KDRT. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian ini juga diperkuat dengan teknik pemantapan kredibilitas penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Adapun unit analisisnya yaitu proses forgiveness istri terhadap pelaku KDRT. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan dua orang responden dan diperkuat kembali dengan dua orang informan. Karakteristik responden yang akan diteliti oleh peneliti didalam penelitian ini adalah seorang ibu rumah tangga yang telah mempunyai anak, berusia 25-50 tahun, usia pernikahan selama 10-25 tahun lamanya. Mengalami bentuk kekerasan berupa kekerasan fisik, kekerasan psikis, serta kekerasan verbal dan intensitas kekerasan yang terlalu sering terhadap responden. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan proses forgiveness dipengaruhi oleh empat faktor, yaitu; fase pengungkapan, fase keputusan, fase tindakan, dan fase pendalaman. Dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, tidak semua responden yang dapat memaafkan pelaku. Satu responden yang dapat memaafkan pelaku, dan satu responden lagi yang tidak dapat memaafkan pelaku, karena pelaku sering melakukan kekerasan fisik, kekerasan psikis terhadap responden. Kekerasan fisik yang didapat responden terhadap pelaku terlalu sering, sehingga membuat responden menjadi trauma, jijik, benci, serta keinginan untuk membunuh pelaku KDRT. Kedua responden samasama tidak ingin membangun kembali hubungan rumah tangga bersama pelaku. Kedua responden sama-sama ingin bercerai dengan pelaku. Responden memilih untuk tidak ingin menikah lagi karena responden takut dengan KDRT yang telah terjadi pada mereka dan lebih memilih untuk membesarkan anak-anak. The purpose of this research is to find out the process of forgiveness done by the wife who suffer for domestic violance, the kinds of abuse, and the phsychological impact faced by the domestic violance. This method of the research is qualitative method with fenomology approach as the technique of interviews and observations.This research is also supported by the credibility test, which is called, triangulation technique. The unit of analysis is the forgiveness for the husband who commited abuses to the domestic violance. For this research, researcher used 2 persons as respondents and supported by 2 informants.The characteristic of respondent is an housewife with children, who are 25-50 years in age, and has been married for 10-25 years. Those hosewives suffer for abuses, such as physical, psychic, and verbal abuse, and those abuses are experienced intensely by the respondents.The result of research is to uncover the process of forgiveness which is influenced by four factors, such as uncovering, judgement, respond, and exploring for solutions.The result shows that there is a respondent who could not give forgiveness for the culprit.One respondent forgave, while the another could not forgive because of the intensity of the abuses that has been suffered by the respondent. Phsycal abuse suffered by the respondent which happened too frequent, made the respondent feels disgusted, hatred, and desire to kill the culprit. Both respondents do not want to continue the marriage with the culprit, and ended up deciding to get divorced. After the divorce, respondents choose not to get married again because of the trauma cause by the previous abuses they experienced on last marriage. They decide to focus on raising kids.
