Pengaruh Program Rumah Pintar Pemilu Terhadap Partisipasi Politik Masyarakat (Studi kasus pada Kantor Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kota Medan)

Abstract

Rumah Pintar Pemilu (RPP) adalah sebuah wadah baru yang dibuat oleh Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) untuk mendekatkan Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) pada semua tingkatan dengan seluruh stakeholder Pemilu dan masyarakat dalam arti yang seluas-luasnya. Dengan adanya Rumah Pintar Pemilu (RPP) ini masyarakat dapat menjadikan Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) sebagai sumber informasi dan sumber ilmu tentang Demokrasi dan Kepemiluan. Rumah Pintar Pemilu (RPP) juga didukung oleh keberadaan ruang visualisasi, ruang simulasi, ruang diskusi, dan perpustakaan yang nyaman dan sangat memadai. Hadirnya Rumah Pintar Pemilu (RPP) di Kota Medan adalah untuk menaikkan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat di kota medan. Dengan hadirnya Rumah Pintar Pemilu (RPP) di kota medan, diharapkan masyarakat bisa datang berkunjung sebagai bentuk partisipasi dari masyarakat untuk menjawab rendahnya tingkat partisipasi masyarakat. Dengan demikian maka diambil rumusan masalah yaitu apakah program rumah pintar pemilu mempunyai pengaruh terhadap partisipasi politik masyarakat (studi kasus pada kantor komisi pemilihan umum kota medan), dan untuk mengetahui apakah program rumah pintar pemilu mempunyai pengaruh terhadap partisipasi politik masyarakat (studi kasus pada kantor komisi pemilihan umum kota medan). Bentuk penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan maksud untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel X (bebas) dengan variabel Y (terikat). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kota Medan. Sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh antara runah pintar pemilu terhadap partisipasi politik masyarakat di Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kota Medan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perhitungan R-Sqare yaitu sebesar 0.219 atau sama dengan 21.9% yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara variabel Rumah Pintar Pemilu (X) terhadap variabel Partisipasi Politik Masyarakat (Y). Thus the formulation of the problem is whether the electoral smart home program has an influence on the political participation of the community (case study at the Medan City Election Commission office), and to find out whether the election smart home program has an influence on the political participation of the community (case study at the commission office Medan City General Election). The form of this research is to use descriptive research with a quantitative approach with the intention to determine the effect of variables X (free) with variable Y (bound). This research was conducted at the Medan City Election Commission. While data collection is done by distributing questionnaires, interviews and observations. The results of the study show that there is an influence between the electoral cleverness of the population on the political participation of the people in the General Election Commission of Medan City. This can be seen from the RSqare calculation that is equal to 0.219 or equal to 21.9% which means that there is a relationship between the Election Smart House variable (X) on the variable Political Participation of the Community (Y).
