dc.description.abstractHubungan Antara Status Sosial Ekonomi Orangtua dengan Kemandirian Belajar Pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Medan. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 55 orang siswa ekonomi bawah dan 55 orang siswa ekonomi atas. Skala kemandirian belajar diukur ciri kemandirian belajar menurut Babari, dkk. (2002) membagi ciri-ciri kemandirian dalam lima jenis, yaitu: Percaya diri, Mampu bekerja sendiri, Menguasai keahlian dan ketrampilan yang sesuai dengan kerjanya, Menghargai waktu, Bertanggung jawab. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi logistikDari Uji Chi quadrat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa variabel Independen (Tingkat ekonomi) memiliki hubungan dengan variabel dependent (Kemandirian belajar) dengan koefisien chi square sebesar 21.277, dengan p = 0,000, maka p<α(0.001), berarti hipotesis yang berbunyi ada hubungan positif status ekonomi dengan kemandirian belajar, dapat diterima. Berdasarkan hasil keseluruhan mean maka diperoleh kemandirian siswa SMA Negeri 1 Medan dengan skor terendah 40 dan yang tertinggi sebesar 160. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa status ekonomi atas memiliki kemandirian belajar yang rendah. The Correlation Between Parents' Socio-Economic Status and Learning Independence in SMA Negeri 1 Medan Students. The number of samples in this study were 55 lower economic students and 55 upper economic students. The learning independence scale is measured by the characteristics of learning independence according to Babari, et al. (2002) divide the characteristics of independence into five types, namely: Confident, Able to work alone, Mastering skills and skills that are in accordance with their work, Appreciating time, Responsible. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis. From the Chi quadrat test, it was concluded that the independent variable (economic level) had a relationship with the dependent variable (learning independence) with a chi square coefficient of 21,277, with p = 0.000, then p < a (0.001), meaning the hypothesis that reads there is a positive relationship between economic status and independent learning, it is acceptable. Based on the results of the overall mean, it is obtained that the independence of SMA Negeri 1 Medan students with the lowest score of 40 and the highest of 160. It can be concluded that the upper economic status has low learning independence.en_US
