dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji secara empiris hubungan antara kesejahteraan psikologis (psychological well-being) dengan komitmen organisasi pada Pegawai Kantor Gubernur Sumatera Utara. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 77 Pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan metode analisis korelasi r Product Moment, diketahui bahwa ada hubungan positif antara kesejahteraan psikologis (psychological well-being) dengan komitmen organisasi pada pegawai kontrak. Asumsinya adalah semakin tinggi kesejahteraan psikologis pada pegawai kontrak maka akan semakin tinggi komitmen organisasi pegawai kontrak tersebut, demikian sebaliknya, dimana rxy = 0,620 dengan signifikan p = 0.000 < 0,050. Artinya hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas X dengan variabel terikat Y adalah sebesar r2 = 0,435. Kesejahteraan psikologis berkontribusi terhadap komitmen sebesar 43,5%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwasanya ada faktor lain yang mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi sebesar 56,5%. Berdasarkan hasil nilai rata-rata empirik dan hipotetik maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesejahteraan psikologis yang diterima tergolong sedang dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik 107,5 dan nilai rata-rata empiric 118,12 dan komitmen organisasi yang diterima tergolong sedang dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik 112,5 dan nilai rata-rata empiric 118,12. This study aims to determine and empirically examine the correlation between psychological well-being and organizational commitment to the employees of the North Sumatra Governor's Office. The sample of this research is 77 employees. Based on the results of the analysis using the Product Moment r correlation analysis method, it is known that there is a positive relationship between psychological well-being and organizational commitment to contract employees. The assumption is that the higher the psychological well-being of contract employees, the higher the organizational commitment of the contract employees, and vice versa, where rxy = 0.620 with a significant p = 0.000 < 0.050. This means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable X and the dependent variable Y is r2 = 0.435. Psychological well-being contributes to commitment by 43.5%. This shows that there are other factors that affect organizational commitment by 56.5%. Based on the results of the empirical and hypothetical average values, it can be concluded that the psychological well-being received is classified as moderate with a hypothetical average value of 107.5 and an empirical average value of 118.12 and organizational commitment received is classified as moderate with a hypothetical average value. 112.5 and the empirical mean value is 118.12.en_US
