Abstract: | This study aims to determine the relationship between leadership style and quality of work life with job satisfaction of employees in the Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing Balai Wilayah Sumatra River I. The method used is Quantitative. The population in this study amounted to 465 employees. Samples were 93 respondents with sample determination using random sampling. Data analysis techniques used in this study is multiple regression analysis Collecting tools in the form of leadership style scale, the scale of quality of work life, and job satisfaction scale. The results showed that: 1) there was a significant positive relationship between leadership style and quality of work life on employee job satisfaction (Freg = 63,680, and p <0,00). 2) there is a significant positive relationship between leadership style on employee job satisfaction (rx1y = 0,312, and p <0,00). 3) there is a significant positive correlation between quality of work life to employee job satisfaction (rx2y = 0,734, and p <0,00). 3) Contribution of leadership style and quality of work life with employee job satisfaction are 9,8% and 53,9% respectively. In general it can be seen that the style of leadership, quality of work life, and job satisfaction of employees in the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing Directorate General of Water Resources Sumatra River Basin I. |
Description: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan gaya kepemimpinan dan kualitas kehidupan kerja dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai di Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum Dan Perumahan Rakyat Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera I. Metode yang digunakan adalah Kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 465 pegawai. Sampel sebanyak 93 responden dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda Alat pengumpulan berupa skala gaya kepemimpinan, skala kualitas kehidupan kerja, dan skala kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan dan kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai (Freg = 63,680, dan p<0,00). 2) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai (rx1y = 0,312, dan p<0,00). 3) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai (rx2y = 0,734, dan p<0,00). 3) Kontribusi gaya kepemimpinan dan kualitas kehidupan kerja dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai masing-masing adalah 9,8% dan 53,9%. Secara umum dapat diketahui bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, kualitas kehidupan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja pegawai di Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum Dan Perumahan Rakyat Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya Air Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera I. |
