dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan utk mengetahui hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) pada karyawan PT. Penerbitan Harian Waspada. Hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu ada hubungan positif antara kepuasan kerja dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi adalah karyawan PT. Penerbitan Harian Waspada berjumlah 84 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan metode Total Sampling, yaitu seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan model skala kepuasan kerja dan skala OCB dengan model skala Likert. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rxy 0,404, dengan signifikansi p=0,000, p < 0,05, artinya terdapat hubungan positif antara kepuasan kerja dengan OCB pada karyawan, dengan asumsi bahwa semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja maka semakin tinggi ocb yang di nyatakan diterima. Besarnya koefesien derteminan r2 = 0.163 artinya kepuasan kerja berkontribusi terhadap ocb sebesar 16,3%. Masih terdapat 83.7% faktor lain yang mempengaruhi OCB tidak dilihat dalam penelitian ini, faktor tersebut antara lain yaitu iklim organisasi, kepribadian (mood), persepsi terhadap dukungan organisasional, masa kerja dan jenis kelamin This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on employees of PT. Penerbitan Harian Waspada in Medan. The proposed hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This study uses quantitative research methods. The population is employees of PT. Penerbitan Harian Waspada amount 84 people. The sampling technique uses the Total Sampling method, that is the entire population is sampled in this study. Data analysis techniques used in this study were job satisfaction scale model and OCB scale with Likert scale model. The data analysis method used in this research is Pearson product moment correlation test. The results showed that the rxy was 0.404, with a significance of p = 0.000, p <0.05, this means that there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and OCB of the employees, assuming that the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the OCB that is declared accepted. The magnitude of the determinant coefficient r2 = 0.163 means that job satisfaction contributes to OCB by 16.3%. There are still 83.7% of other factors that affect OCB not seen in this study, These factors include organizational climate, personality (mood), perception of organizational support, tenure and gender.en_US
