Abstract: Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Medan berdasarkan mahalnya pembiayaan transportasi pribadi sehingga mengakibatkan tingginya kebutuhan energi (bahan bakar) untuk setiap kendaraan. Selain itu, kendaraan pribadi memicu kemacetan di setiap daerah, khususnya Kota Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar penghematan biaya pengguna kendaraan pribadi jika beralih menggunakan Bus Trans Metro Deli. Metode yang digunakan adalah teknik Stated Preference. Teknik menyatakan preferensi adalah teknik angket dengan menentukan pilihan moda transportasi, kemudian diujicobakan pada responden dengan menggunakan wawancara atau penyebaran angket untuk mengetahui respon penumpang terhadap pilihan moda transportasi. Dari hasil survey yang dilakukan terhadap 90 responden didapatkan 54 responden bersedia berpindah yang terdiri dari 22 pengguna sepeda motor dan 31 pengguna mobil pribadi. Rincian total biaya yang dihemat masyarakat (Biaya setelah dikurangi biaya sebelum Bus Trans Metro Deli), Rp66.959.148.25.-Rp54.950.000, = Rp12.009.148,25, (9%). Hasil Analisis Regresi Linier menunjukkan bahwa koefisien X1 (Biaya) adalah 0,34, X2 (Waktu) adalah 0,43, dan X3 (Keamanan) adalah 0,07, sehingga utilitas pemilihan mode (Y) diterima. Nilai koefisien persamaan regresi adalah positif, artinya variabel X1, X2, dan X3 dapat mempengaruhi pemilihan moda. Hasil analisis kondisi eksisting (sebenarnya), realisasi selisih biaya angkutan pribadi dengan biaya bus trans metro deli sebesar Rp. 14.257.608,047 dengan persentase 41,47%. Jadi selisih persentase yang diperoleh dari realisasi selisih dengan hasil regresi biaya perjalanan adalah 7,47%. This research was conducted in the city of Medan based on the high cost of private transportation, resulting in a high demand for energy (fuel) for each vehicle. In addition, private vehicles trigger congestion in every area, especially the city of Medan. This study aims to determine how much the cost savings of private vehicle users if they switch to using the Trans Metro Deli Bus. The method used is the Stated Preference technique. The technique of stating preferences is a questionnaire technique by determining the choice of transportation mode, then being tested on respondents by using interviews or distributing questionnaires to find out the passenger response to the choice of transportation mode. From the results of a survey conducted on 90 respondents, it was found that 54 respondents were willing to move consisting of 22 motorcycle users and 31 private car users. Details of the total cost saved by the community (Cost after deducting costs before the Trans Metro Deli Bus), Rp.66,959,148.25-Rp54,950,000, = Rp.12,009,148.25, (9%). The results of the Linear Regression Analysis show that the coefficient of X1 (Cost) is 0.34, X2 (Time) is 0.43, and X3 (Safety) is 0.07, so the mode selection utility (Y) is accepted. The value of the coefficient of the regression equation is positive, meaning that the variables X1, X2, and X3 can affect the choice of mode. The results of the analysis of existing conditions (actually), the realization of the difference between the cost of private transportation and the cost of a trans metro deli bus is Rp. 14,257,608,047 with a percentage of 41.47%. So the difference in the percentage obtained from the realization of the difference with the regression results of travel costs is 7.47%.
