dc.description.abstract | PLTU PT. Socimas saat ini menggunakan air heatertipe tubular untuk mendukung dan meningkatkan kan produktivitas dari boiler. Penggunaan air heater ini menimbulkan permasalahan baru pada penggunaan air preheater tipe tubular dengan terjadinya kebocoran pada pipa di dalam air heater. Kerusakan ini terjadiakibat dari terjadinya gesekan flue gas yang terjadi di secara terus menerus kerusakan ini menyebabkan kurang maksimalnya penggunaan air heaterterhadap boiler . kerusakan ini Menyebabkan perusahaan mengganti tebal pipa air heater, dengan adanya permasalahan ini, penulis mencoba untuk mengetahui efisiensi air heatersetelah terjadinya penggantian pipa dengan diameter awal 35mm dengan tebal 2,5mm didapatkan laju perpindahan panas konveksi aliran dalam sebesar 62547,7 J/s, konduksi sebesar 127530,49 J/s, konveksi aliran luar sebesar 1242750,13 J/s. Setelah terjadi perubahan diameter 37mm dengan tebal 3,5mm didapatkan laju perpindahan panas konveksi aliran dalam sebesar 69142,4 J/s, konduksi sebesar 113825,46 J/s, konveksi aliran luar sebesar 1711397,46 J/s. Setelah laju perpindahan panas diketahui maka penulis membandingkan efisiensi air heater pra penggantian sebesar 52,07% dengan air heater pasca penggantian sebesar 67,66% maka didapatkan selisih penghematan bahan bakar batubara sebesar 67,347 kg/ hari. PLTU PT. Socimas currently uses a tubular type air heater to support and increase the productivity of the boiler. The use of this air heater creates new problems in the use of tubular type air preheaters with leaks in the pipes in the air heater. This damage occurs as a result of flue gas friction that occurs continuously, this damage causes less than the maximum use of the air heater for the boiler. This damage caused the company to change the thickness of the water heater pipe, with this problem, the authors tried to determine the efficiency of the water heater after the replacement of the pipe with an initial diameter of 35mm with a thickness of 2.5mm obtained a convection heat transfer rate in the flow of 62547.7 J/s, conduction is 127530.49 J/s, external flow convection is 1242750.13 J/s. After a change in diameter of 37mm with a thickness of 3.5mm, the internal flow convection heat transfer rate is 69142.4 J/s, conduction is 113825.46 J/s, external flow convection is 1711397.46 J/s. After the heat transfer rate is known, the authors compare the efficiency of the pre-replacement air heater of 52.07% with the post-replacement air heater of 67.66%, so the difference in coal fuel savings is 67,347 kg/day. | en_US |
