dc.description.abstract | Employee engagement adalah keterikatan karyawan baik secara fisik, kognitif dan emosional dimana membuat karyawan tersebut memiliki rasa loyalitas yang tinggi terhadap pekerjaannya.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris dan mengetahui hubungan antara pengembangan karir dengan employee engagement pada karyawan PDAM Tirtanadi Cabang Tuasan.Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara pengembangan karir dengan employee engagement pada karyawan PDAM Tirtanadi Cabang Tuasan.Subjek yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PDAM Tirtanadi Cabang Tuasan yang berjumlah 64 orang.Sedangkan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Total Sampling.Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah skala yang terdiri dari skala pengembangan karir dan skala employee engagementyang nantinya diolah dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 21 for windows.Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik korelasi product moment dari karl pearson. Dari hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa hipotesis penelitian yang diterima (Rxy = 0.396 ; p = 0.001 < 0.050). Artinya semakin baik pengembangan karir maka semakin baik pula employee engagement karyawan PDAM Tirtanadi Cabang Tuasan.Sebaliknya semakin buruk pengembangan karir maka semakin buruk pula employee engagement karyawan PDAM Tirtanadi Cabang Tuasan. Kontribusi pengembangan karir terhadap employee engagement sebesar 15,6% (R2) = 0,156 sedangkan sisanya (84,4%) dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengembangan karir dengan employee engagement pada karyawan PDAM Tirtanadi Cabang Tuasan. Employee engagement is an employee's physical, cognitive and emotional attachment which makes the employee have a high sense of loyalty to his work. The purpose of this study was to empirically test and determine the correlation between career development and employee engagement for the employees of PDAM Tirtanadi, Tuasan Branch. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a positive correlation between career development and employee engagement for PDAM Tirtanadi employees, Tuasan Branch. The subjects used in this study were employees of PDAM Tirtanadi, Tuasan Branch, totaling 64 people. While the sampling is done by Total Sampling technique. The method used in data collection is a scale consisting of a career development scale and an employee engagement scale which will be processed with the help of the SPSS version 21 program for windows. The data analysis method used in this research is the product moment correlation technique of Karl Pearson. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the research hypothesis is accepted (Rxy = 0.396; p = 0.001 < 0.050). This means that the better the career development, the better the employee engagement of PDAM Tirtanadi Tuasan Branch employees. On the other hand, the worse the career development, the worse the employee engagement of PDAM Tirtanadi Tuasan Branch employees. The contribution of career development to employee engagement is 15.6% (R2) = 0.156 while the rest (84.4%) is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between career development and employee engagement at PDAM Tirtanadi Tuasan employees. | en_US |
