dc.description.abstract | Ketahanan pakan merupakan topik yang akhir-akhir ini ramai diperbincangkan oleh banyak pihak sebagai konsekuensi dari dampak penyebaran COVID-19 yang semakin meluas. Teknologi pakan mandiri sangat dibutuhkan dimasa pandemi COVID-19 yang diharapkan dapat membantu para peternak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pakan. Dengan adanya teknologi pakan mandiri mempermudah para peternak dalam proses pembuatan hingga pencampuran bahan pakan secara mandiri. beberapa dari peternak menggunakan mesin pencetak pellet sebagai alat pencetak pakan ikan mandiri. Screw conveyor merupakan suatu alat yang berupa pipa ulir yang di susun pada pipa atau poros yang berputar di dalam tabung tetap untuk memindahkan berbagai jenis material yang mempunyai daya alir, ada beberapa jenis screw yang bisa diaplikasikan pada proses produksi penghantar material yaitu continuious screw, ribbon screw, dan paddle filght. Pada skripsi ini membahas tentang desain screw conveyor pada mesin ekstruder pellet apung dengan kapasitas 100 kg/jam. Screw conveyor berfungsi sebagai alat bantu dalam proses penghantar bahan ke mesin pelet yang berfungsi menghantar bahan semi otomatis untuk menjaga kehigienisan bahan, dan mengurangi waktu serta jumlah tenaga manusia yang digunakan pada proses produksi. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membahasa kegunaan dan keunggulan screw dan memahami konsep dan prinsip kerja dari screw conveyor. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan kapasitas screw 103 kg/jam, dengan daya motor 0,5 HP, diameter poros yang digunakan 25 mm dengan bahan poros AISI 1020 Hot Rolled Sy = 207 Mpa dan menggunakan bearing single row, grove ball, series 6200. Food security is a topic that has recently been discussed by many parties as a consequence of the impact of the increasingly widespread spread of COVID-19. Independent feed technology is very much needed during the COVID-19 pandemic which is expected to help farmers to meet feed needs. The existence of independent feed technology makes it easier for farmers in the manufacturing process to independently mixing feed ingredients. some of the breeders use a pellet press machine as an independent fish feed printer. A screw conveyor is a tool in the form of a threaded pipe that is arranged on a pipe or shaft that rotates in a fixed tube to move various types of materials that have flowability, there are several types of screws that can be applied to the material delivery production process, namely continuous screw, ribbon screw , and paddle fighting. This thesis discusses the design of a screw conveyor on a floating pellet extruder machine with a capacity of 100 kg/hour. The screw conveyor serves as a tool in the process of delivering materials to the pellet machine which functions to deliver materials semi-automatically to maintain the hygiene of the materials, and reduce the time and amount of human labor used in the production process. The purpose of this study is to discuss the uses and advantages of screws and understand the concepts and working principles of screw conveyors. In this study, the screw capacity was 103 kg/hour, with a motor power of 0.5 HP, the diameter of the shaft used was 25 mm with a shaft material of AISI 1020 Hot Rolled Sy = 207 Mpa and used single row bearings, grove balls, series 6200. | en_US |
