Abstract: Salah satu sumber daya yang paling mempengaruhi perusahaan adalah sumber daya manusia atau karyawan. Perusahaan harus memperhatikan kondisi karyawan sebagai faktor penting dalam proses manajemen. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang optimal menjadi sangat penting bagi perusahaan. Komitmen organisasi dipandang sebagai orientasi nilai terhadap organisasi yang menunjukkan individu benar-benar memikirkan dan memprioritaskan pekerjaan dan organisasinya. Individu akan berusaha memberikan segala upaya yang ditawarkan dalam rangka membantu organisasi untuk mencapai suatu tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara stres kerja dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan PT. Development Bank Of Singapore (DBS) Cabang Medan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan kartu kredit yang bekerja di PT. Development Bank Of Singapore Cabang Medan yang berjumlah 33 orang. Untuk menentukan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling dan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 33 orang. Hasil uji validitas pada variabel penelitian stres kerja dan komitmen organisasional menunjukkan terdapat 4 item yang masing-masing drop dari masing-masing variabel. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Korelasi Product Moment diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara variabel stres kerja dengan komitmen organisasi dimana Rxy = -0,557 dengan taraf (ρ) sebesar 0,000 sehingga < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif antara stres kerja dengan komitmen organisasi, dengan asumsi semakin rendah stres kerja maka semakin tinggi komitmen organisasi pada karyawan PT. Bank Pembangunan Singapura (DBS) cabang Medan. One of the resources that affect the company the most was human resources or employees. Companies must pay attention to the condition of employees as an important factor in the management process. Therefore, optimal management of human resources was very important for the company. Organizational commitment is seen as a value orientation towards the organization that shows individuals really think about and prioritize their work and organization. Individuals will try to give all the effort offered in order to help the organization to achieve a goals. This study aims to see the relationship between work stress with organizational commitment in employees of PT. Development Bank Of Singapore (DBS) Medan Branch. The research approach used was a quantitative approach with the type of correlation research. The population in this study were all credit card employees who worked at PT. Development Bank Of Singapore Medan Branch, totaling 33 people. To determine the number of samples in this study using a total sampling technique and the sample of this study amounted to 33 people. The results of the validity test on the work stress and organizational commitment research variables showed that there were 4 items each dropped from each variable. Based on the calculation of Product Moment Correlation, it is known that there was a significant negative relationship between work stress and organizational commitment variable where Rxy = -0.557 with a level (ρ) of 0.000 so that <0.05. This shows indicate there is a negative correlation between work stress and organizational commitment,assuming the lower the work stress, the higher the organizational commitment to the employees of PT. Development Bank Singapore(DBS)medanbranch.
