dc.description.abstractSetelah dilakukan eksperimen uji kekerasan material dengan metode Rockwell, dengan specimen yang digunakan adalah baja ST 37 dengan menggunakan ball indenter. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari hasil eksperimen pada rata-rata specimen diperoleh nomor kekerasan rata-rata 88.906667. Nilai kekerasan tersebut dapat dilihat berdasarkan beda kedalaman yang ditimbulkan oleh tekanan pada permukaan material. Kekerasan suatu material dipengaruhi oleh kemurnian bahan (homogenitas). After testing the hardness of the material using the Rockwell method, the specimen used was ST 37 steel using a ball indenter. Based on the results of the analysis of the experimental results on the average specimen obtained an average hardness number of 88.906667. The hardness value can be seen based on the depth difference caused by the pressure on the surface of the material. The hardness of a material is influenced by the purity of the material (homogeneity).en_US
