Hubungan Antara Kemampuan Komunikasi Interpersonal Dengan Produktivitas Kerja Pada Karyawan Bank SUMUT Kota Binjai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan produktivitas kerja, dimana yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini adalah para karyawan Funding Sales Officer Divisi Pemasaran di Bank Sumut Kota Binjai yang berjumlah 46 orang. Teknik pengambilan data dengan metode skala dan juga dokumentasi. Produktivitas Kerja dalam penelitian ini diukur menggunakan dokumentasi dari perusahaan. Sedangkan komunikasi Interpersonal dalam penelitian ini diungkap berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang di ungkapkan oleh De Vito ( dalam Sartika & Sulistyaningsih, 2012) yaitu sebagai berikut: Keterbukaan, Empati, Sikap Mendukung, Sikap Positif, Kesetaraan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan metode analisis korelasi r Product Moment, diketahui bahwa ada hubungan positif antara kemampuan kominikasi interpersonal dengan produktivitas kerja dimana rxy = 0,504 dengan signifikan p = 0.000 < 0,050. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dengan produktivitas kerja. Artinya semakin tinggi kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal, maka semakin tinggi produktivitas kerja dan semakin rendah kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal maka semakin rendah produktivitas kerjanya dinyatakan diterima. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas X dengan variabel terikat Y adalah sebesar r2 = 0,254. Ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal berkontribusi terhadap produktivitas kerja sebesar 25,4%. Berdasarkan hasil nilai rata-rata empiric dan hipotetik maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal yang diterima tergolong tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik 120 dan nilai rata-rata empiric 138,67 dan produktivitas kerja yang diterima tergolong sedang dengan nilai rata-rata empiric 3726,50 This research aims to find out the relationship between interpersonal communication and work productivity, where the subject of this study is the employees of the Funding Sales Officer marketing division at Bank Sumut Kota Binjai which numbered 46 people. Interpersonal communication in this study was revealed based on aspects expressed by De Vito (in Sartika & Sulistyaningsih, 2012) namely as follows: Openness, Empathy, Supportive Attitude, Positive Attitude, Equality. Based on the results of the analysis with the correlation analysis method r Product Moment, it is known that there is a positive relationship between interpersonal communication skills and work productivity where r xy = 0.504 with a significant p = 0,000 < 0.050. Hypotheses proposed in this study there is a positive relationship between interpersonal communication skills and work productivity. This means that the higher the ability of interpersonal communication, the higher the work productivity and the lower the ability of interpersonal communication, the lower the work productivity is expressed accepted. The determinant coefficient(r2) of the relationship between the free variable X and the Y-bound variable is r2 = 0.254. This suggests that interpersonal communication contributes to work productivity by 25.4%. Based on the results of the average empiric and hypothetical values, it can be concluded that interpersonal communication received is relatively high with a hypothetical average value of 120 and an empiric average value of 138.67 and work productivity received is classified as moderate with an empiric average value of 3726.50.
