Prevalensi Penderita Kusta Dengan Kecacatan di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Langkat Tahun 2014-2016

Abstract

Kusta merupakan penyakit infeksi yang kronik dan disebabkan kuman Mycobacterium leprae bersifat intraseluler obligat, ditemukan oleh Gerhard Armauwer Hansen pada tahun 1874 di Norwegia. Secara medis Penyakit Kusta dapat menimbulkan kecacatan pada penderitanya. Tingkat Kecacatan kusta di bagi menjadi menjadi cacat tingkat 0, cacat tingkat 1, cacat tingkat 2. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui prevalensi penderita kusta dengan kecacatan di Kabupaten Langkat tahun 2014-2016. Penelitian dilakukan secara deskriftif dengan mengambil data dari rekam medik di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Langkat tahun 2014-2016 Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan prevalensi kusta tahun 2014 sebesar 0,07 dengan proporsi cacat tingkat 2 sebesat 0 %, prevalensi tahun 2015 sebesar 0,09 dengan proporsi cacat tingkat 2 sebesar 44,4 %, prevalensi tahun 2016 sebesar 0,17 dengan proporsi cacat tingkat 2 sebesar 29,4 %. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai Prevalensi kusta untuk melihat hubungan antara penderita kusta dengan jenis kelamin, usia, tipe kusta dan tingkat kecacatan. The Purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of leprosy patients disabilities in Langkat regency in 2014 -2016. The research was conducted descriptively by taking data from medical records at the Langkat District Health Office in 2014 – 2016. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the prevalence of leprosy in 2014 was 0,07 with the proportion of stick defects 2 being 0 %, prevalence in 2015 was 0,09 with the proportion of level 2 disabilities of 44,4 %, prevalence in 2016 was 0,17 with the proportion of level 2 disabilities of 29,4 %. Further research is needed on the prevalence of leprosy to see the relationship between leprosy patients and gender, age, type of leprosy ang level of disability.
