dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas XI di SMA Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa berjumlah 104 orang, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 60 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kontrol diri dan skala prokrastinasi akademik yang diukur dengan menggunakan bentuk skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai signifikansi korelasi p= 0,000 < 0,05, artinya ada hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas XI di SMA Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa, dengan koefisien determinan (r2) sebesar 0,324 atau 32,4%. Dengan kata lain, hipotesis diterima. Kontrol diri tergolong rendah (mean empirik= 44,95 > mean hipotetik= 55 dimana selisih nya lebih dari bilang SD= 8,699) dan untuk prokrastinasi akademik tergolong tinggi (mean empirik= 66,70 > mean hipotetik= 52,5 dimana selisih nya lebih dari bilangan SD= 9,795). The study aimed to look at the relationship between self-control and academic procrastination in grade XI students at Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa High School. The population of this study was all students of class XI Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa High School numbered 104 people, and the sample in this study was 60 people, sampling techniques using purposive sampling. This research method uses quantitative methods. Data collection uses a self-control scale and an academic procrastination scale measured using the Likert scale. Data analysis techniques use the Product Moment Correlation technique.The results showed a significant value of correlation p = 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there is a negative relationship between self-control and academic procrastination in grade XI students at Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa High School, with a determinant coefficient (r2) of 0.324 or 32.4%. In other words, the hypothesis is accepted. Self-control is relatively low (empirical mean= 44.95 > mean hypothetical= 55 where the difference is more than said SD= 8,699) and for academic procrastination is relatively high (mean empirical= 66.70 > mean hypothetical =52.5 where the difference is more than the number SD= 9,795).en_US
