Hubungan antara Kepribadian (Big Five Personality Model) dengan Perilaku Schadenfreude pada Siswa Kelas XII di SMK Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan Big Five Personality dengan Perilaku Schadenfreude pada siswa kelas XII di SMK Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 102 siswa dari populasi sebanyak 1028 siswa menggunakan Teknik sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Regresi Linier Berganda menggunakan Statistical Product And Service Solution (SPSS) 24 for windows. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa variabel Schadenfreude (Y) dengan variabel Big Five Personality (X) memiliki hubungan negatif dan signifikan (rxy= -0,378, P=0,000). Variable Schadenfreude (Y) juga berkorelasi negatif dan signifikan terhadap semua dimensi Big Five Personality yaitu dimensi Extraversion (X1) (rxy= -0,378, P=0,000), dimensi Agreeableness (X2) (rxy= -0,353, P=0,000), dimensi Conscientiousness (X3) (rxy= -0,407 P=0,000), dimensi Emotional Stability (X4) (rxy= -0,322, P=0,001), dimensi Opennes/Intellect (X5) (rxy= -0,320, P=0,001). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan peneliti yaitu terdapat hubungan negatif antara Big Five Personality dengan Perilaku Schadenfreude dapat diterima. Big Five Personality memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 14,3% pada perilaku Schadenfreude, selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. This study aims to determine the correlation of the Big Five Personality with Schadenfreude Behavior in class XII students at STATE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL 2. The data analysis technique used Multiple Linear Regression analysis using Statistical Product And Service Solution (SPSS) 24 for windows. The results showed that the variable Schadenfreude (Y) with the Big Five Personality variable (X) had a negative and significant relationship (rxy= -0.378, P=0.000). The Schadenfreude variable (Y) is also negatively and significantly correlated with all dimensions of the Big Five Personality, dimension of Extraversion (X1) (rxy= -0.378, P=0.000), the Agreeableness dimension (X2) (rxy= -0.353, P=0.000), Dimension of Consciousness (X3) (rxy= -0.407 P=0.000), Dimension of Emotional Stability (X4) (rxy= -0.322, P=0.001), Dimension of Openness/Intelligence (X5) (rxy= -0.320, P=0.001). These results indicate that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher that there is a negative relationship between the Big Five Personality and Schadenfreude Behavior is acceptable. Big Five Personality contributes 14.3% effectively to Schadenfreude's behavior, the rest is influenced by other factors outside this research.
