dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara self reglated learning dengan prokrastinasi pada siswa/siswi kelas XI di SMA Negeri 8 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi kelas 11 SMA Negeri 8 Medan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling atau pengambilan sampel secara acak, maka sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 72 siswa/i. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan skala likert. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis product momentdengan nilai koefisiensi (Rxy) -0,560 dengan signifikansi p = 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian “diterima”, yaitu terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self regulated learning dengan prokrastinasi pada siswa/i, yang menunjukkan semakin tinggi self regulated learning maka semakin rendah prokrastinasi. Adapun koefisien determinasi dari korelasi tersebut adalah sebesar r2 = 0,314 artinya self regulated learning berkontribusi terhadap prokrastinasi sebesar 31,4% sedangkan sisanya ditentukan oleh aspek lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Varibel self regulated learning dalam penelitian ini tergolong rendah karena (mean hioptetik = 72,5 > mean empirik = 59,24), sedangkan variabel prokrastinasi dalam penelitian ini tergolong tinggi karena (mean hipotetik = 70 < mean empirik = 89,89). This study aims to see the correlation between self-regulated learning and procrastination in students of SMA Negeri 8 Medan. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 8 Medan. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling, so the sample of this study amounted to 72 students. The data collection technique used a Likert scale. Based on the calculation of the product moment analysis with a coefficient value (R xy ) -0.560 with a significance of p = 0.000 <0.05. These results indicate that the hypothesis in the study is "accepted", there is a significant negative correlation between self-regulated learning with procrastination in students, which shows the higher self-regulated learning , the lower procrastination. The coefficient of determination of the correlation is r 2 = 0.314, meaning that self-regulated learning contributes to procrastination by 31.4% while the rest is determined by other aspects not examined in this study. The self-regulated learning variable in this study is low because (hypothetical mean = 72.5 > empirical mean = 59.24), while the procrastination variable in this study is high because (hypothetical mean = 70 < empirical mean = 89.89) .en_US
