The Covid-19 pandemic has had a very destructive impact, including on nurses who have to keep working with all the risks they face. Several previous findings showed that many nurses were anxious and prone to stress working with these conditions. Nurses become frustrated and stressed, especially if they have to have direct contact with Covid-19 patients, which has an impact on the tendency for nurses to fail to adjust to being able to continue working during the pandemic, including nurses at Datu Beru Takengon Central Aceh hospital. Anxiety is manifested in the physical, behavioral, and cognitive characteristics of the individual. While the aspects of self-adjustment in this study are the form of having an accurate perception of reality, the ability to adapt to pressure/stress and anxiety, having a positive self-image, being able to express feelings, and having good interpersonal relationships. This study aims to determine the effect between work anxiety and the adjustment of nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample was 47 nurses who work in a special room for treating Covid-19 patients. This study uses quantitative methods with a questionnaire measuring instrument in the form of statements with Likert scale criteria. The analysis method uses Pearson Product-moment correlation. The results showed that there was no relationship shown by the anxiety coefficient on self-adjustment in nurses working in a special room for COVID-19 patients, indicated by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.258 with p > 0.05. This study concluded that anxiety is not significantly related to adjustment, the higher the anxiety of a nurse does not necessarily have an impact on adjustment to work during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, self-adjustment was also influenced by other factors related to a nurse's adjustment that was not examined in this study
