dc.description.abstractJalan T. Adam Malik merupakan salah satu jalur penghubung pergerakan arus kendaraan Kota Medan, ruas jalan ini menopang arus lalu lintas lokal dan arus lalu lintas jarak jauh sehingga tingkat aktivitas disepanjang ruas jalan ini cukup tinggi. Selain itu terjadinya penyempitan jalan dijembatan Sungai Deli, dimana saat memasuki jembatan Sungai terjadi perbedaan adanya pelebaran jalan sehingga mengakibatkan kecepatan kendaraan berkurang dan meningkatnya kepadatan kendaraan. Data parameter lalu lintas volume dan kecepatan kendaraan diambil langsung dari lokasi penelitian, kemudian dihitung nilai kepadatan untuk membentuk model hubungan matematis antara volume, kecepatan dan kepadatan. Model hubungan matematis yang digunakan untuk analisis data yaitu, Greenshields model terbaik dipilih berdasarkan nilai koefisien determinasi untuk digunakan dalam analisis gelombang kejut. Model untuk kondisi jalan normal dan menyempit adalah model Greenshields dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (𝑅2) pada jalan normal sebesar 99,47% dan pada jalan menyempit 92,93%. Dari model hubungan matematis yang ada diperoleh nilai volume maksimum (Vm) dan kepadatan maksimum (Dm) untuk kondisi jalan normal Vm = 1081,048 Smp/jam; Dm =76,491 Smp/km dan pada kondisi menyempit Vm= 901,759 Smp/jam; Dm 65,630 Smp/km. Nilai gelombang kejut yang didapat πœ”π΄π΅ = -10,579 km/jam; πœ”πΆπ΅ = -41,219 km/jam dan πœ”π΄πΆ = 18,581 km/jam. Potensi panjang antrian akibat penyempitan jalan menyebabkan panjang antrian maksimum (QM) kendaraan sepanjang 264,244 meter dan setiap bertambah 5 menit kondisi volume jalan normal lebih besar dari volume maksimum jalan menyempit, maka panjang antrian juga bertambah sebesar 265 meter Road T. Adam Malik is one of the connecting lanes for the movement of the flow of vehicles in Medan City, this road segment supports local traffic flow and long-distance traffic flow so that the level of activity along this road segment is quite high. In addition, there is a narrowing of the road on the Deli River bridge, where when entering the River bridge there is a difference in road widening, resulting in reduced vehicle speed and increased vehicle density. Traffic volume and vehicle speed parameter data are taken directly from the research location, then the density value is calculated to form a mathematical relationship model between volume, speed and density. The mathematical relationship model used for data analysis is that the best Greenshields model is selected based on the coefficient of determination to be used in shock wave analysis. The model for normal and narrow road conditions is the Greenshields model with a coefficient of determination (𝑅2) on normal roads of 99,47% and on narrow roads of 92,93%. From the existing mathematical relationship model, it is obtained that the maximum volume (Vm) and maximum density (Dm) values for normal road conditions are Vm = 1081,048 pcu/hour; Dm = 76,491 Smp/km and in narrow condition Vm= 901,759 Smp/hour; Dm 65,630 pcu/km. The value of the shock wave obtained is πœ”π΄π΅ = -10,579 km/hour; = -41,219 km/hour and = 18,581 km/hour. The potential queue length due to road narrowing causes the maximum queue length (QM) for vehicles to be 264,244 meters and every 5 minutes it is added that the normal road volume is greater than the maximum volume of the narrowed road, so the queue length also increases by 265 meters.en_US
