Abstract: penelitian ini hanya bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dengan kepuasan kerja anggota ranger fkl kutacane. Hipotessi dalam penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi gaya kepemimpinan demokratis semakin tinggi pula kepuasan kerja anggota ranger fkl. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan menggunakan Teknik pengumpulan data berupa skala likert yaitu skala kepuasan kerja spector dan gaya kepemimpinan kartono. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 orang anggota ranger fkl melalui Teknik pengambilan sampel pulposive sampling pengambilan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner di kantor fkl kutacane. Intrumen penelitian ini menggunakan 2 skala yaitu skala kepuasan kerja yang terdiri dari 20 aitem (α= 0,873) dan skala gaya kepemimpinan demokratis terdiri dari 32 aitem (α= 0,903). Hasil analisis menggunakan pearson product moment menunjukan bahwa kepuasan kerja (x=6,366, s=51.53) memiliki korelation positif dan signifikan (r =0,924, p= 0.00) terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hasil mean hipotetik kepuasan kerja adalah 42.5 sedangkan mean empirisnya sebesar 51.53 dengan SD 6.366. mean empiris lebih besar dari mean hipotetik maka subjek penelitian memiliki kepuasan kerja ya tinggi. Mean teriotik gaya kepemimpinan demokratis sebesar 65, sedangkan mean empiris dari gaya kepemimpinan demokratis sebesar 76,50 dengan SD sebesar 10.319 mean hipotetik lebih kecil dari mean empiris maka gaya kepemimpinan demokratis anggota ranger fkl tergolong tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hipotesis diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan positif antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dengan kepuasan kerja angggora ranger fkl. Semakin baik gaya kepemimpinan demokratis maka semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja anggota ranger fkl. This study only aims to determine the relationship between democratic leadership style and job satisfaction of members of the FKL Kutacane Ranger. The hypothesis in this study is that the higher the democratic leadership style, the higher the job satisfaction of the FKL ranger members. This research is a correlation study using data collection techniques in the form of a Likert scale, namely the Spector job satisfaction scale and the Kartono leadership style. The subjects in this study were 60 members of the fkl ranger through the non probability sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires at the fkl kutacane office. This research instrument uses 2 scales, namely the job satisfaction scale consisting of 20 items (α = 0.873) and the democratic leadership style scale consisting of 32 items (α = 0.903). The results of the analysis using Pearson's product moment showed that job satisfaction (x=6.366, s=51.53) had a positive and significant correlation (r = 0.924, p= 0.00) on job satisfaction. The hypothetical mean of job satisfaction is 42.5 while the empirical mean is 51.53 with an SD of 6366. the empirical mean is greater than the hypothetical mean, then the research subject has high job satisfaction. The theoretical mean of democratic leadership style is 65, while the empirical mean of democratic leadership style is 76.50 with an SD of 10.319. The hypothetical mean is smaller than the empirical mean, so the democratic leadership style of members of the FKL ranger is classified as high. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a positive relationship between democratic leadership style and job satisfaction of FKL Ranger members. The better the democratic leadership style, the higher the job satisfaction of the FKL Ranger members.
