dc.description.abstract | Kabupaten Deli Serdang merupakan salah satu kontributor produksi pangan terutama padi di Sumatera Utara, dan Deli Serdang juga merupakan kabupaten dengan jumlah penduduk terbesar setelah Kota Medan di Sumatera Utara, dengan laju pertumbuhan penduduk 2010-2018 sebesar 2,27%, 2018-219 sebesar 1,8%. Peningkatan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk mampu mengancam penurunan produksi pangan, sehingga ketersediaan dan konsumsi pangan perlu dikendalikan untuk menjaga ketahanan pangan. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1). Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketersediaan pangan strategis (beras, jagung dan ubi kayu) di Kabupaten Deli Serdang. (2). Untuk mengatuhi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsusmsi pangan strategis (beras, jagung dan ubi kayu) di Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Penelitian dilakukan di Deli Serdang pada bulan mei-juni 2021. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berdasarkan deret waktu (times series) pada tahun 2015-2020 dan analisis data menggunalkan model regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 20. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, Variabel yang memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap ketersediaan pangan strategis di Kabupaten Deli Serdang (beras, jagung, ubi kayu) yaitu luas panen dan harga komoditas pangan tersebut. Variabel jumlah penduduk berpengaruh positif terhadap komoditas beras dan jagung, sedangkan pada komoditas ubi kayu berpengaruh negarif. Variabel konsumsi beras berpengaruh positif terhadap ketersediaan beras dan variabel populasi unggas memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap ketersediaan jagung. Variabel yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap konsumsi pangan strategis di Kabupaten Deli Serdang (beras, jagung, ubi kayu) yaitu harga beras, pendapatan perkapita memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap konsumsi beras. Konsumsi pada komoditas jagung variabel harga jagung dan harga beras tidak memberikan pengaruh, variabel pendapatan perkapita berpengaruh positif, sedangkana produksi jagung memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap konsumsi jagung, dan pada komoditas ubi kayu variabel harga ubi kayu berpengaruh positif terhadap konsumsi ubi kayu, namun pada variabel harga beras dan produksi ubi kayu berpengaruh negatif. Deli Serdang Regency is one of the contributors to food production, especially rice in North Sumatra, and Deli Serdang is also the district with the largest population after Medan City in North Sumatra, with a population growth rate of 2.27% in 2010-2018, 2018-219 of 1 ,8%. The increase in population growth can threaten a decrease in food production, so that the availability and consumption of food needs to be controlled to maintain food security. Therefore, the objectives of this research are: (1). To determine the factors that affect the availability of strategic food (rice, corn and cassava) in Deli Serdang Regency. (2). To determine the factors that influence strategic food consumption (rice, corn and cassava) in Deli Serdang Regency. The study was conducted in Deli Serdang in May-June 2021. The data used in this study is secondary data based on the time series (times series) in 2015-2020 and data analysis using multiple linear regression models with the help of SPSS 20. Based on the results and discussion, Variables that have a positive influence on the availability of strategic food in Deli Serdang Regency (rice, corn, cassava) are the harvested area and the price of these food commodities. The population variable has a positive effect on rice and corn commodities, while the cassava commodity has a negative effect. The rice consumption variable has a positive effect on the availability of rice and the poultry population variable has a negative effect on the availability of corn. Variables that have an influence on strategic food consumption in Deli Serdang Regency (rice, corn, cassava) are rice prices, per capita income have a negative influence on rice consumption. Consumption of corn commodity prices of corn and rice prices has no effect, variable income per capita has a positive effect, while corn production has a negative effect on corn consumption, and on cassava commodity cassava price variable has a positive effect on cassava consumption, but the price variable rice and cassava production had a negative effect. | en_US |
