dc.description.abstractTujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Penalaran Moral dengan academic honesty pada Mahasiswa Psikologi angkatan 2018 di Universitas Medan Area. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah hubungan positif antara penalaran moral dengan academic honesty. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 62 mahasiswa Psikologi angkatan 2018 Universitas Medan Area dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket skala penalaran moral dan academic honesty. Dengan koefisien reliabilitas Penalaran Moral dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach 0,861 dan koefisien reliabilitas Academic Honesty dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach 0,924. Analisis data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah tehnik product moment. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hubungan positif yang signifikan antara penalaran moral dengan academic honesty pada mahasiswa psikologi angkatan 2018 Universitas Medan Area. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,521 dengan p = 0,000, sedangkan koefisien determinan (r2) sebesar 31,5%. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Selanjutya diketahui kontribusi penalaran moral dengan academic honesty adalah sebesar 31,5% sedangkan sisanya 68,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. Diketahui penalaran moral tergolong tinggi dimana mean hipotetik 49 > dari mean empirik 72,24 dan selisihnya melebihi nilsi SD 9,638. Dan academic honesty juga tergolong baik dimana mean hipotetik 120 < mean empirik 173,68 dan selisihnya melebihi nilai SD 12,836. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between moral reasoning and academic honesty in 2018 Psychology Students at the University of Medan Area. The hypothesis proposed is a positive relationship between moral reasoning and academic honesty. The subjects of this study amounted to 62 Psychology students class 2018 Medan Area University using a simple random sampling technique. data collection is done by using a scale of moral reasoning and academic honesty. With the reliability coefficient of Moral Reasoning with the Cronbach Alpha formula of 0.861 and the Academic Honesty reliability coefficient with the Cronbach Alpha formula of 0.924. The data analysis used in this research is the product moment technique. Based on data analysis, the results of this study show a significant positive relationship between moral reasoning and academic honesty in psychology students from the 2018 University of Medan Area. This is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.521 with p = 0.000, while the determinant coefficient (r2) is 31.5%. Thus the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Furthermore, it is known that the contribution of moral reasoning with academic honesty is 31.5% while the remaining 68.5% is influenced by other factors. It is known that moral reasoning is high where the hypothetical mean is 49 > from the empirical mean 72.24 and the difference exceeds the SD value of 9.638. And academic honesty is also quite good where the hypothetical mean is 120 < empirical mean 173.68 and the difference exceeds the SD value of 12.836.en_US
