Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara iklim organisasi dengan motivasi kerja pegawai di Universitas Medan Area. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja di Unit Biro Admnistrasi Akademik yang berjumlah 37 karyawan. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan menggunakan tekhnik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua skala yaitu skala iklim orgnisasi dan skala motivasi kerja karyawan. Analisis data dengan menggnakan tekhnik korelasi product moment (rxy) yaitu sebesar 0,064 dengan P = 0,000 < 0,010, artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikann antara iklim organisasi dengan motivasi kerja karyawan yang menunjukan bahwa semakin baik iklim organisasi suatu perusahaan makaakan semakin tinggi motivasi kerja karyawan. Sebaliknya semakin buruk iklim organisasi suatu perusahaan maka semakin rendah motivasi kerja karyawan. Iklim 9roganisasi dalam penelitian ini cukup baik karena (mean empirik = 145,38 > mean hipotetik = 112,5). Dan motivasi kerja karyawan tergolong tinggi karena (mean empirik = 211,51 > mean hipotetik = 165 dimana selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD = 15,618. Hasil inisesuaidengan hipotesis dan dilapangan. This study aims to determine the relationship between organizational climate and employee motivation at the University of Medan Area. The object of this research is the employees who work in the Academic Administration Bureau Unit with a total of 37 employees. The sampling technique is to use a purposive sampling technique. Data retrieval is done using two scales, namely organizational climate scale and employee work motivation scale. Data analysis using the product moment correlation technique (rxy) that is equal to 0.064 with P = 0.000 <0.010, meaning that there is a positive and significant relationship between organizational climate and employee work motivation which shows that the better the organizational climate of a company, the higher the work motivation of employees . Conversely the worse the organizational climate of a company, the lower the work motivation of employees. Climate 9 organization in this study is quite good because (empirical mean = 145.38> hypothetical mean = 112.5). And employee motivation is high because (empirical mean = 211.51> hypothetical mean = 165 where the difference exceeds SD = 15,618. The results are similar to the hypothesis and in the field.
