dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi pengembangan karir dengan komitmen organisasi karyawan PT. Telkom Witel Medan. Persepsi pengembangan karir diartikan sebagai cara pandang seorang karyawan terhadap usaha dan proses peningkatan kemampuan yang dilakukan guna mencapai karir yang diinginkan di masa depan. Sedangkan komitmen organisasi diartikan sebagai tahap dimana seorang karyawan telah menerima tujuan organisasi yang dibuktikan dalam bentuk kesetiaan dan keinginan yang kuat untuk mempertahankan keanggotaannya di organisasi tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh karyawan PT. Telkom Witel Medan yang berjumlah 113 karyawan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang di gunakan adalah teknik Purposive Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Telkom Witel Medan yang merupakan karyawan tetap, telah bekerja minimal selama 5 (lima) tahun dan berusia 31 tahun ke atas yang berjumlah 56 orang. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan metode angket berupa skala likert. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala persepsi pengembangan karir yang berjumlah 32 aitem dan skala komitmen organisasi yang berjumlah 40 aitem. Analisis data menggunakan analisis Pearson Product Moment. Nilai validitas aitem skala persepsi pengembangan karir adalah 0,327 sampai 0,816 dengan reliabilitas rbt=0,923, sedangkan nilai validitas aitem skala komitmen organisasi adalah 0,334 sampai 0,642 dengan reliabilitas rbt=0,905, diukur meggunakan Alpha Cronbach’s. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil ada hubungan signifikan antara persepsi pengembangan karir dengan komitmen organisasi. Hasil ini diketahui dengan melihat nilai atau koefisien dimana koefisien korelasi rxy yaitu 0,512 dengan signifikansi p=0,000 <0,05, dengan bobot sumbangan 26,2%. Artinya hipotesis yang diajukan semakin baik persepsi pengembangan karir maka semakin tinggi komitmen organisasi dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of career development and organizational commitment of employee in PT. Telkom Witel Medan. Perception of career development is defined as an employee's perspective on the business and ability improvement process carried out in order to achieve the desired career in the future. While organizational commitment is defined as the stage where an employee has accepted organizational goals as evidenced in the form of loyalty and a strong desire to maintain membership in the organization. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 113 employees. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study were all employees of PT. Telkom Witel Medan which is a permanent employee, has worked for at least 5 (five) years and is 31 years old and over, totaling 56 people. The data collection method used a questionnaire method in the form of a Likert scale. This study uses the perceptions of career development scale with totaling 32 items and the organizational commitment scale with totaling 40 items. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment analysis. The value of item validity of the perceptions of career development scale was 0.327 to 0.816 with reliability rbt= 0.923, while the value of item the organizational commitment scale was 0.334 to 0.642 with reliability rbt= 0.905, measured by using Alpha Cronbach's. Based on the results of the analysis conducted, it was found that there was a relationship between perceptions of career development and organizational commitment. This result is known by looking at the value or coefficient where the correlation coefficient rxy is 0.512 with a significance of p= 0.000 <0.05, with a contribution weight of 26.2%. This means that the hypothesis proposed the better perceptions of career development, the higher organizational commitment is accepted. | en_US |
