dc.description.abstractsampai simpang Sei Sikambing kota Medan karena pada simpang-simpang tersebut mempunyai tingkat kepadatan dan keramaian yang cukup besar. Karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan standar Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja jaringan jalan mulai dari ruas jalan dan juga persimpangan apakah sudah baik dalam menangani lalu lintas ataupun sudah mulai adanya kemacatan lalu lintas. Perhitungan analisis dan simulasi yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode MKJI 1997. Data primer yang diambil dalam penelitian berupa geometrik jalan, kondisi lingkungan, kecepatan lalu lintas, volume lalu lintas, dan penggunaan sinyal. Sedangkan data sekunder yang dibutuhkan adalah data jumlah penduduk Kota Medan. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data, maka didapatkan kondisi di simpang Manhattan memiliki tingkat pelayanan F disetiap lengan dengan nilai tundaan rata-rata tertinggi mencapai 167,31 det/smp dan untuk persimpangan Sei Sikambing juga memiliki tingkat pelayanan F disetiap lengan dengan nilai tundaan rata-rata tertinggi 168,65 det/smp, sedangkan untuk simpang Rajawali memiliki tingkat pelayanan C dengan nilai tundaan rata-rata simpang 18 det/smp. Sementara untuk ruas jalan Gatot Subroto memiliki kecepatan arus bebas 48 km/jam- 50 km/jam dengan tingkat pelayanan B, kecuali ruas jalan Gatot Subroto utara bagian kana memiliki tingkat pelayanan C. The study of road network performance analysis was carried out at the Manhattan intersection to Sei Sikambing intersection in Medan city because at these intersections it has a fairly large density and crowd level. Because it is necessary to conduct research using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual 1997. This study aims to analyze the performance of the road network starting from the road section and also the intersection whether it is good in handling traffic or traffic congestion has begun. The analysis and simulation calculations applied in this study used the MKJI 1997 method. The primary data taken in the study were road geometry, environmental conditions, traffic speed, traffic volume, and signal usage. While the secondary data needed is data on the population of Medan City. Based on the results of data analysis, the conditions at the Manhattan intersection have the level of service F in each arm with the highest average delay value reaching 167.31 sec /smp and for the Sei Sikambing intersection also have the level of service F in each arm with the highest average delay value 168.65 sec / smp, while for Rajawali intersection has a level of service C with an average delay value of 18 sec / junior high intersection. Meanwhile, the Gatot Subroto road has a free flow speed of 48 km / hour - 50 km / hour with service level B, except for the northern part of the Gatot Subroto road that has service level C.en_US
