Hubungan Antara Gratitude Dengan Happiness Pada Remaja di Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gratitude dengan happiness pada remaja di Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 59 orang dan sampel sebanyak 59 orang yang mana remaja awal berjumlah 36 orang dan remaja akhir berjumlah 23 orang, peneliti menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gratitude dengan happiness pada remaja awal dilihat dari nilai koefisien (Rxy) = 0.531 dengan p = 0.000 < 0.050, dan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gratitude dengan happiness pada remaja akhir di panti asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah yang dilihat dari nilai koefisien (Rxy) = 0.809 dengan p = 0.000 < 0.050, artinya hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan gratitude dengan happiness diterima. Begitu juga dengan nilai koefisien determinan ( ) pada remaja awal yang memiliki nilai 0.282, hal ini setara dengan 28.2%, artinya adalah bahwa gratitude pada remaja awal tersebut berkontribusi sebesar 28.2% (rendah) dan nilai koefisien determinan ( ) pada remaja akhir yang memiliki nilai 0.655, hal ini setara dengan 65.5%, artinya adalah bahwa gratitude pada remaja akhir tersebut berkontribusi sebesar 65.5% (sedang) terhadap happiness pada remaja di Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah. Gratitude dan Happiness pada remaja di Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah tergolong tinggi, disebabkan oleh nilai mean empirik lebih besar dari nilai mean hipotetik. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between gratitude and happiness in adolescents at the Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah Orphanage. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population of this study was 59 people and the sample was 59 people, where the early teens were 36 people and the late teens were 23 people, the researchers used a total sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between gratitude and happiness in early adolescence seen from the coefficient value (Rxy) = 0.531 with p = 0.000 < 0.050, and there was a significant positive relationship between gratitude and happiness in late adolescence at the Mamiyai Al Orphanage. Ittihadiyah seen from the coefficient value (Rxy) = 0.809 with p = 0.000 < 0.050, meaning that the hypothesis which states that there is a positive and significant relationship between gratitude and happiness is accepted. Likewise with the value of the determinant coefficient (R^2) in early adolescence which has a value of 0.282, this is equivalent to 28.2%, meaning that the gratitude of the early adolescents contributes 28.2% (low) and the determinant coefficient value (R^2) in late teens who have a value of 0.655, this is equivalent to 65.5%, which means that gratitude in late teens contributes 65.5% (medium) to happiness in adolescents at the Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah Orphanage. Gratitude and Happiness in adolescents at the Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah Orphanage are relatively high, because the empirical mean is greater than the hypothetical mean.
