Pengaruh Dukungan Keluarga Terhadap Kebermaknaan Hidup Pada ODHA Di Yayasan Medan Plus

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adanya pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap kebermaknaan hidup pada ODHA di Yayasan Medan Plus. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 71 ODHA. Sejalan dengan pembahasan yang ada di dalam teori, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu adanya pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap kebermaknaan hidup. Dengan asumsi semakin tinggi dukungan keluarga maka semakin tinggi kebermaknaan hidup dan semakin rendah dukungan keluarga maka semakin rendah kebermaknaan hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan skala likert. Untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan maka dilakukan perhitungan mean hipotetik dan mean empirik, terdapat nilai SD Dukungan Keluarga sebesar 5,626 dengan mean hipotetik 70 dan mean empirik 64,56, maka Dukungan Keluarga tergolong rendah. Terdapat nilai SD Kebermaknaan Hidup sebesar 4,629 dengan mean hipotetik 47,5 dan mean empirik 41,94, maka Kebermaknaan Hidup tergolong rendah. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesanya diterima. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kebermaknaan hidup adalah sebesar r2 = 0,831. Hal Ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga memiliki kontribusi terhadap kebermaknaan hidup sebesar 83,1%. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian ini, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to examine the effect of family support on the meaningfulness of life for PLWHA at the Medan Plus Foundation. The sample in this study amounted to 71 PLWHA. In line with the discussion in the theory, the hypothesis proposed in this study is the influence of family support on the meaning of life. Assuming the higher the family support, the higher the meaningfulness of life and the lower the family support, the lower the meaningfulness of life. This research uses total sampling. The data collection method used a Likert scale. To test the proposed hypothesis, the hypothetical mean and empirical mean are calculated, there is an SD value of Family Support of 5.626 with a hypothetical mean of 70 and an empirical mean of 64.56, so Family Support is low. There is a meaningfulness of life SD score of 4.629 with a hypothetical mean of 47.5 and an empirical mean of 41.94, so the meaningfulness of life is low. Thus it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between family support and the meaningfulness of life is r2 = 0.831. This shows that family support has a contribution to the meaningfulness of life by 83.1%. Based on the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.
