dc.description.abstract | Tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) are plants that have been cultivated for a long time or hundreds of years ago and tomato plants are vegetables. This study aims to determine the effect of rice straw compost and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on growth and production of tomato plants of servo F1 variety. This research method used a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 factors, namely: rice straw compost and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. Rice straw compost consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely : P0 = without giving rice straw compost, P1 = giving rice straw compost 1,5 kg/plot, P2 = giving rice straw compost 2,25 kg/plot, and P3 = giving rice straw compost 3,0 kg/plot. Whereas arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi consisted of 5 treatment level, namely : M0 = without giving arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, M1 = giving arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi 0,75 g/plot, M2 = giving arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi 1,5 g/plot, M3 = giving arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi 2,25 g/plot, and M4 = giving arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi 3,0 g/plot. Observation variabels included : plant height (cm), number of leaves, number of branches, age of flowering, number of fruit per sample plant, number of fruit per plot, fruit weight per sample plant, and number of fruit per plot. The results showed that rice straw compost he results showed that rice straw compost had a very significant effect on each observation parameter and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi had a very significant effect on each observation parameter. Variabel pengamatan meliputi : tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah helai daun, jumlah cabang, umur mulai berbunga, , jumlah buah per tanaman sampel, jumlah buah per plot, bobot buah per tanaman sampel (g), dan bobot buah per plot (g). | en_US |
